Peter, where John had had "had", had had "had had". "Had had" had had the examiner's approval.

    Couldn't resist :D

Damn it, Greg, I was mulling that over as I scrolled down and you spoiled my mulling by very selfishly posting the answer! How rude...

Yeah, well see number 1 on my list :P

Ha-ha! Get in line, cos it's a looong queue. And that's just the line for auditions! They're serving breakfast at the end right now, but as you move forward, I hear they're doing lunch and later a nice supper :D:D:D

Just don't jump the queue, or else you'll end up with a shrunken head. Like Bettlejuice

Don't think so. But they're not letting anyone under 28 join it now. It's a terrible thing when they're too far into old age by the time they get to the audition :D

Surely that would mean they wouldn't let anyone OVER 28 join the queue? Or is it one of these strange growing younger after 28 things?

P.S. I hate mornings somedays, today being one of them. Should put that as a 26 on my list.

    Right, let's try me.

    1. I love dinosaurs just as much now as when I was a little boy who loved dinosaurs.
    2. I'm absolutely the person you want in a choir to deal with tricky harmonies and absolutely not the person you want as a soloist.
    3. At university I liked films much less than all my friends but was the only one actually studying film.
    4. I don't think I'll ever love a job.
    5. I qualified to play badminton for my borough when I was 17, only to discover I'd qualified for the wrong borough.
    6. I need my boxer shorts to have buttons, not that odd gap.
    7. I think people who wear stuff to sleep in either have body heat issues or are masochists.
    8. I have Johnny Depp's email address.
    9. I once kissed Michaela Strachan
    10. I have visited the Soviet Union.

    You lucky lucky lucky bastard.

Just to get my own back, I once drove 4 hours through a total whiteout to go here:
    http://www.tyrrellmuseum.com/
And because it was -25C and no one in their right mind would drive through rural Alberta that day, we shared the entire museum with about 4 other people.

    Can I have another go?

    1. I was born in the Chinese year of the Monkey. Haven't got a clue what that means.

    2. I'm a Libra. I don't do astrology though - we're in charge of our own lives even if we think we're not. Doing nothing about it is still our own choice (though I suppose imprisonment is an extreme situation). People who blame others for their problems irritate me.

    3. I'm shy and introverted with most people, even some family. Not so much online though, I find that a lot easier. Hence this '25 things about me' (well, 50 now).

    4. Most of my cycling is by myself. I love the freedom to go where I want. It's simple escapism from everything else going on in life - for those 8 or so hours, all that matters is that I keep turning the pedals.

    5. I don't do long term plans, life is too unpredictable. When I started uni in 1999 I never predicted what I'd be doing five years later, and if I had it probably wouldn't have been right.

    6. Given a week's holiday in the sun on the beach and in pubs, or a week's cycling in the rain, I'd take the cycling.

    7. I've not bought a newspaper regularly for 10 years. I look on news websites and look through the Metro at work, but rarely read beyond the headlines. It's usually bad news and the details depress me. Situations affecting me are rarely as bad as the media makes out.

    8. I like puzzles but get bored and frustrated and start cheating and looking at the answers. I remember that "had had had" one from school.

    9. I liked music at school and wish i'd taken in further (didn't take it at GCSE). I've got an acoustic guitar but can't play it very well.

    10. I'm short-sighted, more so in my left eye.

    11. I've don't watch reality TV or soaps. I'd rather live my own life than spend hours in front of the telly watching unknown or fictional people live theirs.

    12. I don't care for fashion or being cool. I do what I like. I'm happy with people doing the same, as long as it doesn't adversely affect other people.

    13. I'm a bit of a computer whiz (or geek if you prefer). I've run a couple of websites, built my computer, made some databases for recording details of my bike rides and walks, played about with some programming, and made some new systems at work. I'd like to get a job doing this stuff but not sure I could stick out the training and qualification. It's a hobby for the time being.

    14. I collect stuff but don't know why or what to do with it. At the moment I've got a growing collection of beer bottle tops on a shelf.

    15. I wish I'd been into Pink Floyd early enough to see the 1994 Division Bell tour. As it is, I've seen Aussie Floyd many times.

    16. I'm from a Christian family and was brought up going to church regularly, but my mind's too logical and scientific to believe it.

    17. I find infinite space and time fascinating but hard to grasp. When I look up at the sky on a clear night I can't comprehend that "space" just keeps going forever. Likewise the idea that "time" has always happened, it never "started".

    18. I can't stand incompetence. There's so many jobs in my organisation which are basically just checking and correcting the work of others it's unbelievable. And we're not talking specialist subjects here either.

    19. I've been single for long enough to enjoy it that way.

    20. I'm the only one out of all my siblings (I'm one of 5) without kids.

    21. I embarrass easily and it doesn't brush off easily. Like someone's already put in their list, I sometimes gasp when I recall something I've done which has been embarrassing, even if it's nothing big and everyone else has forgotten it.

    22. I can't stand petty squabbles. Life's too short.

    23. I am my own best company. I love independance and don't do well being told what to do. Although I've no problem with reasonable authority - the boss at work and the police for instance.

    24. Despite shyness, with certain friends I have a very immature sense of humour. Schoolboy jokes, that kind of thing. Growing up is overrated :P

    25. I totally wasn't expecting to make it to #25 a second time!

    1. I think you have to be a bit self-important to write 25 'interesting' things about yourself.

PS - I'm not sure there's any stipulation that you have to regard the things as interesting. They're just a collection of random bits of information.

I don't agree that thinking there's 25 interesting things about yourself means you're pompous! There are many interesting things about everyone... come on Sewinman, it's good to talk... we'll be nice, we always are.

    26. I've just discovered the BikeRadar forum is not in fact a forum, it has no other members, it's just a set-up by MI5 to gleam information from me. I'm pretending I've not rumbled them but I'm smarter than they think.

    2) can you get 'House' on DVD? Love Film?
