BSG is not fit to wipe the arse of The Wire's incontinent mad, meat loving cousin.

Bloody DIY - have been renovating a house for ages now.

    but for fun:-

kitesurfing when ever and where ever I can but preferably where there are waves.
surfing usually Devon or S Wales
climbing or if I am lucky mountaineering i.e. in the Alps
skiing / ski touring also if I am lucky enough to be in the Alps
snowboarding guess where I would have to be lucky to be again
    bit of running

resting on the sofa wondering why I do so many sports that damage me
Short hairy legged roadie FCN 4 or 5 in my baggies.

    Felt F55 - 2007
    Specialized Singlecross - 2008
    Marin Rift Zone - 1998
Peugeot Tourmalet - 1983 - taken more hits than Mohammed Ali

When not riding the bike I can be found under or inside my old V-Dub camper, so much work still to do and summer is approaching

I also play WoW, so addictive....read books, thrash the Lotus around a track(funds permitting),watch dvd's and go for a few beers after watching my local football team.

Soon none of the above will apply, due to a new house in need of lots of work

Roleplay gaming (yes I am prepared for people to call me a geek if they want to)

    Bah just one geeky hobby

    my hobbies include:-
    table top gaming (WH40k)
MMORPG's (online games) SWG and LOTRO
othe PC Videogames, oblivion, Dawn of war, Dirt, old elite games, X-series games etc etc
Collecting Star wars lego (have over 100 sets) this picture of just the boxes is 4 years out of date: DSC03450.jpg
building furniture out of wood. (most of house is full of furniture Ive designed and built myself.
Collecting allsorts with a starwars logo on it
Building a large scenery board for a train set (3 of them actuall all connected up)
rereading the same few books, mainly Tolkien, occaisionally harry potter or homer
Planning the easter holiday including a trip to see "real" steam engines (thomas has a lot to answer for in our house)
Typing overly long posts \ essays on internet forums
daydreaming about creating the ultimate mmorpg
thinking about relearning programming for the above (one day I will take the next step and do something about it)
daydreaming about a triumphant return to national championship rallying, doesnt sound geeky? no one outside of the sport realises just how geeky rally competitors actually are, seriously we memorise the number of teeth on crown wheels and pinions and can talk for hours on the subject. Ive had long conversations on the theory of exhaust design...

    Yep Im officially a geek

Oddly enough there was a time between leaving school and getting married when I had no geeky hobbies at all in fact my hobbies then were limited to cars and girls...
