  • You should know Simon, if our kid says Mcds will be open, they will be open. They open up especially for him as he is their best customer...

Barkey, I'm probably stating the obvious. I think your bike is going on my roof if you didn't know already, then Simon and our kids on the back.

mcd's is the way forward, either that or a nice greasy bacon sarnie from "barnies sarnies" in malton

weather aint looking to good for sunday, heavy rain forecast, made me think if simon's knee has started hurting as he suffers from arthritis,as ppl with arthritis are suppose to get pain in there joints before it rains, either that or he has seen the forecast for sunday

I'm not having MCds that early again after last time
  • I think the theory is, if we have Mcds at 6.30am then by the time we get riding at around 3hrs later the full feeling will be gone but the energy will still be there.... :?

brilliant ride today, well the first bit was(parking up),then the first half mile or so,then it all ended up going a little bit wrong,we took the wrong turning and ended up doing a little 7 mile detour  ...finally got back on route we had planned, which took us to around the 12 mile mark, then the map had a bridleway, but the ground around us wouldnt let us see it,3 miles of hike a bike later and we found a nice downhill which was on map again, fast and a little bit rocky in places,we decided after much talking to go back on road to car...21 miles later we got back to where we started....did i mention it was windy and raining all the way round,so much for weather forecast

enjoyed the banter tho,we all kept each other laughing all the way round, which made the day for me....myself and giggsmaster have decided to do a route we actually know in 2 weeks time in dales...if anyone fancies joining us,it will be a lot better then today,i promise(i can withdraw this remark at any time,:wink: )
