sorry - I've trawelled through ( quite a few ) pages but can't find the route - which page in particular?

Thinking I might join up on-route as the alternative is slinging the bike in the car ( a possibility ) and starting with you guys from Ferriby ( could ride into Ferriby I guess - where do you start from? )

    or

If I meet mid-way then at least I'm closer to home if I need to bail out??

    EDIT -
Had a look at the route now - wouldn't mind joining from the start - haven't been in the woods going north straight out of Ferriby on the other side of the A63 for years!
6:30pm from the start as it is on MapMyRide - see you then!! Cheers.

Cheers - I'll have a proper scan later and let you know where I'll join up - still thinking about either riding to Ferriby or putting the bike in the car though.

Don't think I am going to be able to make it this evening :( Horse riding for the first time in sixth months has left me walking like John Wayne and I don't think I could make them do anymore at the moment!

I'm off to Morzine next Friday for a week so hopefully will be able to get out for a ride with you all after I get back, if i'm in one piece still that is!

Have a good 'un guys! :)

Danielle, have a good time in Morzine. There will be some good biking out there for sure, won't have a patch on Brantingham though.....

    Cheers for that guys.
Got on some tracks that I haven't been on for years!
Mind you - next time can you lot try and speed it up a bit on the descents  - sorry, but my motto is def. "safety first" and I can't ever see me hammering downhills the way you guys ripped them up.
Will look out for more rides but getting more difficult with trying to fit in some Road-work and the running as well.
    Cheers again.

Aye, it was good to meet you. There should be someone on this thread who will be out and about every week, just keep your eyes peeled.

I think I should take your motto and I may be able to stay on my bike, instead of going over the bars....

And I had another puncture after we left you....
  • Hi Bob

Going to go out early on Sunday about 9am as England playing in the afternoon and want to get to pub early!!!!.

    Forget about tubeless......

Tomorrow, what about on the moors? Barkey, remember last year when we got home for 11pm...

I'm sure it won't  I'll take lots of pics :) Was really looking forward to it but feeling a little bit scared now after seeing one of the guys we were ridding with yesterday at Stile Cop at Cannock snapped his shin bones! He'd just landed a drop perfectly and went on to ride into a tree stump with his leg, wasn't pretty!
