What time and what route you got planned?

i'm doing from the main car park to just past dixons hollow then deppending on what the weather is like and how much battery i have left i might do another loop or bits of it

What time you thinking of setting off from Hull then, I'm working in afternoon so it will depend what time I get finished.

    Hi there,
    Im new to this site.
Im just wondering if anyone does rides around Brantingham and Elloughton Dales area as i live in this area and have just upgraded to a mountain bike. It can get lonely on your own out there lol.

have a look at my posts in this thread - I've done a few loops up around there, mainly from south cave area and onto the wolds way and back around the back of brantingham etc. there are plenty of options if you just follow a few paths!

Yeah, like our kid says, maybe thinking about a ride. Just let us know what day(s) you think you might be around and where you would want to ride.

At the moment I would prefer Weds 30th, I might be able to move forwards or backwards a day.

If its dry, then the Peaks for me. If not then I think I fancy the Dales.

Oh, btw. Had a good little ride out at Dalby last Friday night with SL. I was surprised how dry it was in places. Next time I had better charge my batteries up for longer though....

Wharncliffe - Saturday? Anyone fancy it give us a shout :)

I'm at work saturdays, but with all the rain latery isn't Wharnecliff not much fun in the mud?

I would think it will be a little bit muddy, unless you have some insider information...?

No fun if its just going to be basically sliding down on your bum with a bike hey?!

    what do mean like this?

Ha ha! Thats funny. Didn't end up a Wharncliffe ended up at Lee Quarry instead. I was no use and only managed one round of the shortest route! Its is a ripping route though wish I had the energy to have ridden it better!

Now then, have you tried removing the negative terminal from the battery - leaving it for 15 minutes and then reconnect?

If you, and it starts dont rev it for about 5 minutes as the ECU relearns its ROM fuel curve.

Otherwise, carefully remove each of the vacuum pipes and blow them through.

If that does not work it will be your MAF/MAP which is a box that sits between the air filter and intake plenum (large metal pipe that sits above the injectors) - they do go funny over time, however they are replaceable (ebay) or repairable at a BOSCH centre, there used to be one in BRID, as the AUDI uses a Bosch K-jetronic system.

Things to try - before your student loan gets hammered!
