So, Heres an idea for Mondays Route on the Moors. Starting at Rosedale, heading out as far as Danby Moor/Fryupdale, inc 6 decent DH sections. Only issue is its 27miles....

    Heres the Route mapped: www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php?id=17510

Let me know if its too far? As i can alter the distance to suite. Although It could easy be a full day route!

or theres this start at danby, nr whitby. nymmedium.png

now then mate, meet at corby park which is last street on youre left before you go onto clive sully as youre going out of nth ferriby....we go round brantingham area, some nice little down hill sections to ride/few uphills/little bit of singletrack and some xc,we will be doing round about 15 miles hopefully, more then welcome to join up with us.....

as for youre lid,i got one off wiggle cost me £50 its a giro rift helmet, normally one size fits all as they have what they call a acu-dial in most of them now, which means you turn a dial for it to fit youre head,lol......id pop into any bike shop,i know freetown have a good choice of helmets so might be worth popping in there to have a look at prices and styles they have.....

Now then Matt, the route around Glaisdale Moor and Fryup look pretty decent. Not too sure about the 27 miles though, the 2nd route looks ok apart from having to start in Danby.

I ain't had a look at the OS Map yet, but how about trying to incorporate the best of both routes and use more of both Moors into a smaller mileage.

You have more knowledge of the Moors further up north than I do, so up to you mate. Since I chose the last 2 routes I suppose I best give you a free reign on this one....

Just make sure them DH's are class....

I'll have a look mate, we might be able to include most of that but start at somewhere like Chruch houses/Hutton-le-hole/Rosedale. I've done the Danby route I posted, so i know its got some great stuff in it. ;)
