    Morning All,

I was thinking of hitting Dolby on Friday if any one is available. I only have a lil Mini so I can only get one other bike in, but still save someone a drive from Hull area and fees and would be good to go round with others.

Still available for Sunday is the usual guys and girls are out. Question though, what time do you usually ride on a Sunday? It's first game of the season for the Red men (Liverpool) this sunday at 16:00. Could be a sky + moment you see. :)

wish i could goto dalby mate, but everytime i go i need new pads for my brakes, and at a cost of £20 to replace them all,its a bit costly for me,

and sunday is what ever time the majority of ppl can make it mate, dont think anybody has set a time yet...

Danielle pointed me in the direction of this thread.
I'm not from Hull...but I'm not that far away and looking for the possibliltiy of tagging along on some rides.

I am relatively fit and don't struggle with long distances but I am not very fast uphill (or probably down as I still have a HT) so I worry about being left behind cos I'm rubbish ;)

Anyway thought I'd say hi and all that :)

Hey, welcome to the madness! Everyone who i've been out riding with is a great laugh, anyone is always welcome to join us on any of our rides! As most people who i've been ridng with describe my bike as a tank, so whenever we ride they are all waiting for me at the top of any climb!

I'd describe our rides as more social then serious biking! we always like to have a good chat whilst trying to do good routes!

Just keep an eye out for whenever the next ride/any ride is an feel free if you can to join us!

Nice, sounds like it was a good end to the ride then :P Although it must of made it more exciting and abit more dangerous with the lack of light!

I was thinking perhaps about getting some more tesco torches for winter night riding!

Shame to hear about not being able to make it next sunday. If you want/can make a midweek ride let me know, im usually able to sort something out!

As for the route, Of course its no problem. The nice thing about the area of the moors around Cockanye, Farndale, Rosedale, and Hutton-le-hole is theres so many options for a route!

www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php?id=5480 theres this 15miler for MBR in November, its a medium route. You could then build a loop onto that for more distance. If you do this route clockwise, you experience a great descent from west gill head into Low Mill. One of the top 5 DH sections in the moors, so im told!

www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php?id=5557 this is a 25miler, starting in Rosedale, in a big loop taking in stunning valleys such as Danby (one of my fav places to ride), Westerdale, baysdale, then back upto Bloworth crossing and down the old railway route back to Rosedale. Which ends in a epic road descent back into the village.

If you want more options, let me know. Could easy route something for you if you know what distance, pace, type of route you want to ride :D
