  • Cheers,
I will check out the message boards thoughtout the week. I am looking forward to seeing more than one route around Hull I have been doing hahaha!

Just arrived in scotland and the weather is rubbish so maybe I wont be getting a run out tomorrow :(

Oh and some weasel un-strapped all the bikes on the train to Edinburgh. A tip for anyone using the bike racks on National Express Trains. Also use a lock. Freaking weasels, good job I always cover my shocks with pads.

First of all - Hi Chris and welcome! I've just started biking with a few people off the forum, brilliant bunch of people I can assure you of that! :D

I'll come out to play on Wednesday too if I can get my leg moving again after yesterdays tumble!

Hey Chris, as Danielle says, the meets/rides with the people on here are always a great laugh, get to meet some great people. I'm sure if you even if you can't make them someone should be able to give you some routes to try!

Enjoyed the ride yesterday, I thought is was a good mixture of XC and some very good Downhill sections.

Probably next jaunt up to the Moors or maybe Peaks depending on weather, will be in 2 weeks time. With some fitness work done in between, so Steve doesn't show us all up with his mountain goat impersonation.....

It was a great route there mate, not sure if going down ingleby bank is worth doing again, after being abit sick of pushing my tank back up The Incline! Some more of my pics from the same route.

  • Hola again,

I think a few of you probably flew past me and my misses as we were walking down the foreshore yesterday. What we thought was a short trek ending up becoming a 7 mile hike, with of stop in the Cumberland, good times. :)

I remember a group passing us and thiking there has got to be some decent routes round here as they were grafted.

Hopefully I will be back home this weekend and I can get a run out with you all if thats ok?

Its a route I did last thursday, starting at Chop Gate in the western end of the North Yorks Moors.

Think theres a link which Giggsmaster posted for the route. If not, i'll sort something out for you to show where i went. Its the same route as a group did last Saturday.

I don't know about anybody else but I think I will probably be at City that day. If you could make it on the Sunday 23rd then that would be a different matter, I'm sure Matt would approve for that day...

That looks a bit XC for you Matt.... What's it like for terrain, a few fields in there, could it get hard going if its been raining?

theres a nice little route in mbr this month for peaks!!!!!!!!!!

i wont be bale to make ride 2mor till round about 6 to 6-30,as her indoors has car so ill have to get lift with giggsmaster.......
  • Morning All,

I was thinking of hitting Dolby on Friday if any one is available. I only have a lil Mini so I can only get one other bike in, but still save someone a drive from Hull area and fees and would be good to go round with others.

Still available for Sunday is the usual guys and girls are out. Question though, what time do you usually ride on a Sunday? It's first game of the season for the Red men (Liverpool) this sunday at 16:00. Could be a sky + moment you see. :)

6.30pm is fine for me this evening, however I may tootle out on my own as i'm not sure i'll be able to keep up a fast pace atm, still sore from sunday! Don't want to push it too much if there is a ride this sunday.
