    Hi

I'm in East Yorkshire too (Selby area) I'm always on the look out for either an event or an excuse for an outing on the mtb, even if it's a circular ride on roads and tracks. I wanted to do the Malham Tarn Track Attack a few weeks ago but I already had something planned on that day, I was gutted!

The majority of us on here are from the Hull area mate,so tend to stick to trails around this area with the odd excursion further out,but these are normally a last minute thing due to work commitments etc,all i can suggest is keep a eye on here.

I went out again on Saturday afternoon, just for a local loop nothing too heavy... I ended up getting soaked but within an hour the Sun was out and I was dry again...

Does anyone go for a ride in the evenings after 6pm? I would be up for a short ride a couple of nights a week sub 20m just to get some base fitness and put some miles down...

34 miles in just over 3 hours today for me,local route is dry/a little bit tacky in places but not enough to kick any mud up,only place with puddles was when you turn left at the cross roads after coming down the chalk path and head towards the farm and onto Riplingham road.I have got the route on strava which i presume if anyone wants it i can post a link to it somehow

I got up today and it was such a nice day I decided to commute to work on the bike and get in a few extra miles in, it's only a 12 Mile round trip as I work in Barton... Anyway I'm hoping to get out again over the weekend for a bigger ride, weather permitting...
