Hey Graham just looking at the data and the difference between ride time and moving time is approx two hours so I am guessing that this resting time  certainley didn't seem like two hours.
Have a go may dissagree

    Thanks for the upload

Hope you all enjoyed the ride today (felt a little guilty for dragging you all round for miles & miles). At least we made it to the Pub :D

Can't access the ascent/descent data until tomorrow evening but I can say:

    Length of Ride: 5hrs 25mins
    Riding time: 3hrs 43 mins
Distance: 37.24 kms or 23.1 miles

Monstermash - Graham's data takes into account one bridleway we didn't do, and he kept repeating some climbs' hence why his data records 26miles. The 2hrs resting time on his data is the time he spent waiting for us

Well done everyone, that was a hard ride in the heat. The trails made up for it - so fast and dry and dusty

Moggy - thanks for leading the fast ones down some trails - it helped a lot, especially when I started to wither.

Now I know you can all ride the distance, anyone fancy forming a team of 4 or 5 for SITS 24hours enduro event in August? That's if you have forgiven me after today :P

Hi Sassy! I've recently entered an event that weekend so will need to change the dates of the Rhayader ride.

How about Sat 31 Jul or Sun 1st August? It will need to be a 10am start as it will be an all day ride 8)

Hey I did 38miles today, with busted up ribs, all the way to Worcester on errm the roads 9 paths actually ) , then back with much getting lost and being on the wrong side along side the river and having to back track a fair bit, there where some GREAT bits, okay 2 great bits, miles of hard BASH BASH BASH fields, I really wish I was on the FS not the rigid. Nearly 40metres of climbing to and it only took us 8hours.

It was planned as Road to and from Worcester, home for 4pm easy, got bored and rolled in at 8:45pm LOL.

On the upside all the bashing has fixed my arm / shoulder and my ribs feel much better I can actually breathe, although likely speaking to soon right before going to bed!!

I shall be riding in the week, SORRY!!

Ohhh did I mention the 2500* gates and styles we had to carry the sucker over.

    * thats what it felt like!
  • Fab ride Muddypuddle, thanks for showing us around. Can't wait to get over there again.

Just sorry the legend that is Turvey didn't show - but don't they say "You should never meet your heroes"

Can do a Friday evening ride - can we meet on the Buttonoak side at 7:30pm?

Re Rhayader - I might struggle to get a date in August now but could do 10 or 11 July if that suits you all better.

Is Button Oak at the Wyre?

I might try to make this on Friday, as long as there's no real need for lights? My dad put AAs in my 18650 charger, so now I can't charge my lights

Buttonoak is on the Bewdley side of the wyre. 2nd car park on the left. Check the map out and if you can't see it, PM me your email address and I'll send you a link.

Some of us were out riding until 10ish last week and it was still light enough to ride, no problem :)
