  • Cheers for all the friendly replies guys!

Do I take it the group will be out this Wedensday for me to tag along on! Thanks for the face book invite.......I may be the only person in the world though that has never been on facebook!

What time do you meet at the Duke pub? I take it no lights at this time of year....it would have to be a very long ride and may jeopodise our pint afterwards if we stayed out that late.

Looking forward to meeting you all. :D

    Hi Ellie,

A few of us are planning on doing a ride in the Wyre on Weds, starting at 7.30pm

No lights required as we are usually finished before darkeness, around 9.30 ish

    See you there!

    :D

    Missgroover, muddypuddle, Weds ?

Weds should be ok for me...I do have an appointment after work but it shouldn't take too long. If it does I'll text and let you know.

Back on the hardtail this week - keeping it real! :P

No I meant Kate...thought she was a 6er as well???
    Couldn't give a sh*t about George!!!!!
    Fair do's!

It's George's too, he's on the list of 'not so great people born on the 6th' though

Anyway (seeing as I can't get on FB at work), I might be bringing my cousin along to the Clent ride tomorrow, as long as it's a no-lights ride. He's just got himself a Carrera Kraken, we went out for about 15 miles of local stuff and he was fine, he's been messing about on BMXs and generally riding bikes for years, so it's his first 'proper' MTB but he's not a 'newbie'.

So, will we be back before it's dark tomorrow night?

    Hello Everyone!

Was looking for a good group to go riding with, only recently got back into mtb so still building my fitness up, but hopefully i wouldn't hold anyone up!

I've been riding a few times with friends round the wyre forest and had a right blast! but dont think i've seen half the trails it has to offer.

I'm up for regular rides evenings and weekends aswell, especially as the weather good 8)

So what ya say, room for another one?

    Cheers

    Hello James,

More than welcome to come along, various rides through out the week.

Wyre rides are usually Weds evenings, 7.30pm at the Duke William pub car park, Sundays @ 10.30pm.

Clent rides during the week too, the rides vary from one week to the next, but keep an eye on the forum for more info.

    Just come along.... :)

That trail is in a nature reserve so should not (theoretically) be ridden, the nature reserve is a no-cycling area, so im afraid no-one (should) will put this info up online!

Best thing would be to join a few of the rides and get to know your way round!

    Normal rides tend to be:

    Sunday 10:30am - most weeks

    Wed Nights 7:30 - Frequent

    Tuesday Nights 7:30 - Fast ride (no chatterboxes) - every 2-3 weeks-ish

and other nights, we even do trips to cannock and mortimer every now and then.

    Hi wet sock....

Just come along to a ride or two, Weds 7.30 and Sundays around 10.30, although this Sunday is 11am at the Duke William pub car park.

The ride/group vary from week to week, but keep reading this forum for dates and times etc

As already mentioned above the trail in question is in the nature reserve and should not be ridden....

Good to meet you last night (Ellie and James). If you are free during the week and fancy a bimble then let me know....
