Park at the Clock Tower go over the main hill back to the road, if you go on the road towards malvern town centre you can hang a left into a car park follow that across going back towards the clock tower then you turn right over some roots and it's the really small tricky bit which I normally only have to walk the 1 section. Brings you out at the cafe high up in the middle of the malverns.

Don't quote me on the quarry I know that goes over the top of 1, but dark so no idea where that was, sure was steep though.
  • Think I know where you are, just before the roots there's a quick downhill section and you flick right up over some roots between a treetrunk and the hill. The roots look like they'll eat the front wheel?

If it's the section I'm thinking of, I've only ever cleared it once, on the rigid SS, last week completed fluffed it and ended up cartwheeling back down the hill!!

Yep likely the same bit, only tricky bit of single track I've seen on the Malverns, I had the front wheel in the air going backwards a few times also, not a route to attempt to ride 1/2 asleep at night when it's slimey.

On a good day, bring extra food and fluid in the car or something and see if we can get upto 40miles in the forest with all the climbing involved.

40Miles from my house, Canal to Stourport, River to Arley play in the forest and reverse gets 40miles but WAY less climbing so it's easily do able.

May see you Weds Sassy if the body has recovered from Mayhem.
Legs aren't too bad today - it's my hands that are shredded weirdly enough. From hauling on the bars for all that power climbing out of the saddle no doubt

Mand, be warned they have a new no talk more riding policy and well I think it did my leg in last week, your going to love it :)

I'm hoping you'll slow it down.

We'll just point you in the general direction and carry on riding though.

It actually felt like a proper good ride on Sunday, about 25 miles in the Wyre :D

Although sometimes a good chat & a mincey pace is ok too.

It may need to be slow and mincey tomorrow if I'm out - still feeling pretty delicate from the weekend! On the ups at least, still be whizzing down the downs :D
