I live right near Kidderminster Station so can give you a lift from here to Clent or Wyre, I generally ride to Clent from here though if I've got time, it's all Downhill almost coming back and a blast, but getting there warms you up nicely.

If 1 of my mates doesn't need a lift I'll add.

Nearest station to Clent would be Stourbridge, about 6 mile away..

Im sure Hagley would be much closer! Ive ridden from a mates house in hagley upto clent in 15 mins, went up a side road past a school, comes out on the big island!
  • Roger Rogue - I'll be there on the 26th to guide you round. Can't remember if we've made arrangements so shall we say - 10am at the Duke William Pub (parking free) or in the Visitors Centre (need to pay for parking) or in a layby by turning off the main road towards Little Lakes about 100m before the Visitors Centre? There are loos and a cafe at the Visitors Centre and the usual facilities at the pub! I'll be riding to the meet point so am flexible with time and location. How long do you want to ride for so I can plan a route?

Hi MP, I've arranged to meet the others at the Duke at 9.30 so we can get underway at 10. Probably looking at a 3 hour ride, slightly longer if ok.

am pft - do it at night!

I hope you all have a good ride tonight! Weather looks set to be brilliant (as it was last night over clent) , no standing around too much as the insects seem to be attracted to the rocky mountain for some reason! LOL

And if debbie goes remind her to land jumps pointing the same way as she takes off!

Chris - I am sure there will be plenty of standing around tonight, most of it will be at the start in the car park though !

Cracking ride last night. Amazed at the amount of flowing single track that the Wyre has to offer. Looking forward to next time.

Ofcourse I kept up, I'm a no retreat no surrender kind of guy, I'll just have to cancel all ride plans for the next month to get over it and double my doseage of ibuprofen, sore knees today.

Most falls in a single ride ever goes to Miss G impressive.

I can relate, I was doing the cheeky trail on the Malverns last Friday at 1am, the brain ceased to function and just kept falling off nearly into the quarry I think just caught a tree :)
