I'm up for a beer or two, well lemonade in my case, but I'm not donning the flack jacket in order to cycle through south London if I'm going to be the only one there

What does this have to do with me? I won't be there as I'm drinking beer on my sunbed in Turkey. Free Wifi extends to the pool area as well, bonus!

Actually no manipulation required. The top image was shot from my iPhone and uploaded via wifi from my sunbed, it really is very blue, not seen a cloud in 4 days. The wifi is a mixed blessing though; still getting work emails! Miss the morpeth too, Efes is ok but I could murder a proper pint.

Ah, the working week has started. Now the count down to SCR Drinks at the Morpeth on Friday starts. I wonder what the weather forecast is? :?:

Mrs OSK and I popped into the Morpeth yesterday on our cycle home from a day out on the bike (did a loop from Brentford to Limehouse along the Grand Union and Regent canals, then back along the river home). Cheeky stop at Morpeth and a pint sitting outside was just what the doc ordered 8)

    Bump up the thread lists..

Who's all coming on Friday? Will the big yellow fiery thing that isn't yellow, isn't fiery (but is rather large) be in the sky?

I am even going to cycle for the first time in central London.

Talking of which, I decided the SS needed new tyres and tubes. So I went to LBS and am now significantly poorer, having also bought shorts to wear on it and hydration tablets and a chain cleaner and some lube and a new brake cable for my BSO and and and

    oops
Emerging from under a big black cloud. All help welcome

Oh go on then, you've twisted my arm. Anything to play with the traffic in central London again. I may even take a different route to get some SCR action along the embankment
