  • Anyone fancy a lap or two of Richmond Park, either this Friday afternoon or Sunday? Need to stretch the legs of the (now not so) new road bike as she's been sitting in the garage since I got her last month.

Shame on you how could you leave a 'NEW' bike in the garage for a month, cjcp surely you could find a suitable RP based punishment

I have to confess that I didn't ride my Scott for about two weeks after I bought because I loaned my pedals out to my brother in law. I didn't keep in the garage though. Kept her all nice and warm in one of the bedrooms. Come on, it was January!

As it happens, I was thinking about going out this Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours. OSK - what time were you thinking?

  • i could be tempted as well as i need to build my fitness back up, though weather may be moist...
  • Yes, I know, its bad behaviour, but the weather has been so bad, plus she's too new/good to commute to work at this time of year (the Old Kona is mudguarded, reflectored and lighted up for this time of year)

Just looked at the weather forecast for the weekend, Sunday is looking wet :-(

BBC now says that the weather should be ok. Whilst I assume that will change by the time I've finished typing this post, I'm planning to head out around 2pm for a couple of hours. Just need to clear it with The Boss.
