Got a new jersey from Torm on pre-order. They've been out of stock of most styles for ages but have more coming in shortly. Gone for one of the short sleeved ones in orange.

Burton BB30 installation tool, plus a removal one.

Didn't want to risk stuffing up the frame for the sake of a few pounds.

Reviews seem pretty good, and this video shows it in detail, and it looks pretty well made to me.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a4qFSOTGR0

IIRC the options I went for came to £23.99 - I've a number of bikes now with press fit, so it will easily pay for itself several times over if I am able to remove and fit them at home.

I went via ebay which is cheaper than Amazon, and went for the basic press, so just the threaded part, plus nuts and the actual pressfit parts.
And then I went for the mid level remover tool - I 'think' the one he uses in the vid is the most basic one, but there was just a couple of quid difference so thought it could well be worth it. Hoping to have it by Monday at latest, so will endeavour to remember to report back on here with how it performs.
Hopefully just the press will be used, if it doesn't work as intended, the removal tool will also come into use :o

Didnt get on with the dhb helmet so went out to the local shops trying to find something that fitted better, ended up with a Giro Syntax MIPS, Much (100g) heavier helmet, but felt more comfortable... And also of the 6 bike shops I trawled across town to look and try helmets on, the only 63cm helmet that was actually in stock anywhere.

New Torm jersey turned up so they have their new stock in for anyone interested. Very nice it is too (T17R in orange).

They don't seem to have proper pictures up yet for most of the new stuff - quite interested to see how the new pink ones look.

Took advantage of PBK's £25 off a £200 order, and ordered a pair of Ale winter bib shorts, and this jersey (Another thread got me looking for spring weight jerseys and latterly turned this up):

    Really liking that fade.

Also had to place my first order from the unusually named lord gun bicycles for the TT build (As nowhere here had it) - £43 order with postage, so be entertaining to see what customs and admin charges I get hit for, hoping not more than an extra £18 or so, but who knows *spins the wheel*

Tabs began to break on my Garmin 1000 - so a raceware direct replacement tab thingy, stuck on with some gorilla gel superglue - bought direct, not from Merlin, though I have yet to pay come to think about it!

Will have it's first test run tomorrow - does sadly mean the device sits around 3-5mm higher than it used to - but better than having it run over by a car.

My Lordgun bicycle order arrived via parcel force, and it appears I have escaped any admin fees or import duty - not sure how exactly.
It had the reams of custom information on the front, and wasn't listed as a gift or whatever the other thing they sometimes use when sending from China, so pleasantly surprised.
I don't think they will hit me down the road with a requirement to pay, ime they always need payment before delivering.

P.S Garmin replacement tab thing worked a treat, and locks in more solidly than the original - extra height is happily not noticable.

I don’t want to be a buzz kill but I had an import with the usual wad of customs paperwork and no up front bill, sadly a month later the bill came and it was way more than 20% of the items value

Fair do's - it was only just over a £40 order, so I guess we'll see, it was impossible to source from virtually anywhere, and certainly nowhere in the uk, so even if another £20 is added, so be it.

Back on topic, be keen to hear what you make of those power pedals, for ease of fit, reliability and accuracy etc - are they Look Keo cleats?

I may have ordered a couple of jerseys, for a change I went for black and yellow, and I love Scott, and I also am a sucker for both a fade AND an unsymetrical (non-symetrical?) design.

The LS one I ordered straight from Scott (Westbrook did not have my size), have ordered from them recently and no import charges were added.
Hoping it will be a springweight jersey.

The SS one was not in stock anywhere UK, but found a seller called Bergzeit who promise they sort all the customs charges out, and they also offer free returns to a UK address. Good price, plus they had a 10% discount code and free shipping over £50.

They are also made from 50% recycled materials.
