At the risk of causing a panic buying rush, I've bought a pair of buffs for my kids, to act as "paper mask" substitutes.

Just bought one of these panniers https://upsobags.co.uk/recycled-bike-bags/panniers in anticipation of having to lug my laptop to work and back everyday in case the office went into lockdown and on the very day it arrived we all got sent home to work from home until further notice.

Good ortlieb alternative - not liking the orange colours personally, but that's just an aversion I have :-)

Will you keep it or return it?

If Whois.com is correct, then yes it would appear so.

I think I'll keep it as I suspect at some point we'll be allowed back to the office but still needing to take our laptops home in case of another lockdown.

looks like the kickr is going back as faulty, power all over the place, resistance problems and dropouts, great just what I need right now.

Bollox, what a PITA :/ Hope they get it sorted for you quickly.

Picked up a couple of those rpm cadence sensors you posted a few pages back, with C2W 20% off plus my gift card 10% they ended up at less thsn £13 a pop which is pretty good - if they are reliable.
One's a backup for the commuter or turbo bike, and one is going on my girlfriends CR1 to replace a functional but fairly ugly cable heavy Decathlon speed and cadence sensor - she only needs cadence to be honest.

    Phenomenal with cleats!
Maybe laces are lighter than BOA or ratchet?

Did you go white or Camo?
Aside from the orange I quite like the camo.

Camo, it's not that bad at all in the flesh and as much as I'm using the orange laces for the "moving bright colour" extra visibility, I think there is a pair of black or blue laces in the box.

Just re-checked the weighing scales, I messed up earlier, they're actually ~540g... But stilll!

Bought a Sportful Long sleeved jersey plus some more tights on the assumption that I’d get some mileage out of them this year, though judging by folks lack of restraint I suspect that I’ll be commuting only as we will be locked down as folks can’t ride solo etc.

"https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Sportful/Monocrom-Thermal-Long-Sleeve-Jersey/NROM" in council orange which I like oddly!

Just bought a refurbished power meter so I can play on zwift without forking out for a smart turbo. £210 for a 4iiiiiiiiiiiiiii one on PBK, the last ones were the same series colour and size as my cranks so I thought it would be rude not to.

My go to daily machine is a hugely upgraded 2012 Mac mini i5 with SSD and 16Gb ram it’s great but now my wife’s desktop, my Lenovo i7 monster laptop is the little uns desktop so I’m down to my work MacBook Pro i7 top spec all round so this 2007 mini has its work cutout, I’m confident it’ll be up to the job as it’s one of the models you can replace cpu memory etc

Frog 62 in Union Jack scheme.
Carerra Saruna 20" in "pink" scheme.
20" and 24" mudguards and racks from Decathlon

And I was looking at a Carrera E hybrid from Halfrauds hoping to pick it up from a local store before the shutdown occurs; that's not happening now.

My kids are mainly tablet users. Unfortunately the eldest's tablet tops out at Android 4.4.4 and the home school apps she needs want 7 and upwards, so that's why she's using my 2012 i5 Samsung (still an excellent machine and lighter than an Air).

Am currently looking for an alternative to Plex for my NAS content for the kids. Trialling Kodi, but I haven't figured out how to get it to stream over the internet so it's restricted to the home network at the moment.

Also a bit annoyed that iTunes picked the beginning of the year to overhaul their DRM and so I can't currently strip if off videos for fair use on my NAS. Stuck at home and can't purchase any new content for the kids to play on the TV. Reticent to use Google Play (Android TV) as that is stream only, you can't download.

I hate, hate, hate content being tied to a platform.

Ditto. And I hate renting services. I'm still buying DVDs/blurays when I can...

Best semi NAS solution i've found for images and files is a webserver running webdav, it doesnt work so great on Mac's but I suspect my non streaming needs are more simple than yours.

I use openvpn to connect back to home from the outside world

I haven't bought this yet, but will be looking for a bargain (£146 is currently the cheapest) in the next 6 months.
Castelli finally make a perfetto with a colour scheme I want - I could then shift on my Alpha jersey:

Do Halfords deliver their own sales, or do they get delivered by the likes of Parcel Force etc.?

Businesses that are staying open because they are regarded as a key service that cannot work from home are suffering serious absence rates at the mo, so it will likely mean online orders take longer to reach you.

There was an email about there stores and how stores would operate and how click and collect would work, so I’d assume online orders are being processed.

It was online only so should come from the warehouse rather than a store so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

No movement on the order tracking but it says it will be here today. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️
