2XL are still around, and SG themselves have medium in stock - I went Small, and it was actually a good fit.
My Ale all in one suit has arrived, at work, but not in now until Monday, but am expecting good things!
Love it, Ditto, but there is no way in hell I'm paying £80 for a jersey.0 -
Wiggle had it for less than that when I ordered mine, closer to £60 IIRC.
Agreed though, would not pay £80 for it.
Loving the Mitchelton Scott jersey now they have ditched the navy.
The race fit one i about £130, that's all I can find anyway, the relaxed fit one is £70 in most places, but £49.99 at Giordana.co.uk, so have just gambed on an xs one to see if I can defeat the relaxed fit element.

just ordered a cycliq fly 12 CE and a new helmet. Using the cycle2work scheme voucher as I don't need* a new bike.
Yes, you can just buy accessories.
Never used cameras for commuting before, but the fact it's just built into the light makes it less conspicuous and is easy to use, just turn the light on.
*of course i do need a new bike, but what I really want i'm not going to get on cycle2work.0 -

Tempted by one of these, seems useful. Think the price will drop much, over time?Superstition sets the whole world in flames; philosophy quenches them.

I rather foolishly took the folks dog for a spin on the one of the old tram roads, which has seen better days and quite rocky, which slashed the rear Gravel Kings 35mm I have on the bike down to the carcass seemed wise to replace!
I also noticed that it had rubbed under the forks at least the rubber stick/mouldings had. so when one down from 35mm to 32mm and swapped the front to rear.
cx/gravel tyres do seem a touch fragile, or at least compared to burly MTB tyres, in fairness Its well beyond a gravel/cx really is intended for.0 -
Second pair of dual sided Garmin Vector 2's.
Had no issues with my first pair, and as pointed out by Solstice on the bargains thread, currently available from CRC for £441 IF you go through TCB AND have BC membership.
I have a large pair at the mo, so have gone for standard (12-15) as two bikes I am likely to use them on, both have 14ish mm width crank arms.
Hoping that was the right decision.
Presumably, worst case, I could use the pods across different bikes (As it's just the pods that are different sizes) - or even, does anyone know if I could run one large, and one standard pod?
As I gather you just need the right pod specifically on the drive side, so it does not foul the chain.
If that was so, I could just buy one pod of a different size, to use as required.
My initial thought was to 'simply' remove the pods, and swap them across, BUT they are designed only to self remove when you remove the pedal.
These will also be a bit of insurance, in case the kickstarter campaign I backed doesn't materialise - they have 12 months now!Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Thinking the same but can't see many groupsets listed on the CR website, maybe I'm using the wrong search terms. Might have to have a chat with the manager in my local store.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Sooooo that gives me an idea as well, I could buy the new R8000 groupset and a set of Zonda wheels for just under £1k, which ends up costing me £580 thats pretty damn good deal.

Me too - too late for this year, but next year beckons - our work place uses the 'Halfords cycle to work' scheme, but I know that Rutland Cycles and Tredz take the vouchers, so as CR are a brand of Halfords, would hope I could use them there too.
I've always wanted a quality set of deep carbon clinchers you see.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

You can check whether you can buy an item with C2W on their website, if it qualifies it has a blue cycle scheme ticked checkbox logo next to it.0 -

Just had a quick look, and looks like as per usual, it's restricted to complete bikes and safety gear etc you can buy.
EDIT: Sunnies are on there.
Otherwise I would have aimed for one of these next year for the Scott:

One of the CR reps came to our office to talk about the C2W scheme. I asked about groupsets and he said it's possible and he himself has put through 2 groupsets on C2W. So it might be down to luck.0 -

After a lot of searching around, I finally located somewhere with a new Sora 9 speed triple crankset, with 170mm cranks. I ordered it on Amazon, yesterday, it was delivered today. As a bonus, they’ve chucked in a bottom bracket for free.0

Indeed, but Halfords cycle2work make it very clear it's not.
Confusion between the two is rife, and strange, considering that they both are meant to be following the same hrmc guidelinesIntent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Of course most bike shops are happy to play along but tbh if you aren't a top rate tax payer, and so the savings are less, I can't really see the point, savings versus hassle is marginal.0
