Glad I held back on Le Col bibs going on the reports above and instead I went for a pair of Craft Orica GreenEDGE replica bibs from Sport Pursuit for £40, took them for a ride today and they feel so good.Only slight annoyance is that I kept sliding forward on the saddle with them.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Interesting with the Le Col bibs, I really like mine! Although saying that I've only had Castelli Free Aero's in the past and not tried Rapha/Assos etc. Maybe they just fit some people and don't fit others?

Wahoo elemnt bolt bundle. Been eyeing it up for ages since my old garmin died. Also 11-28 cassette, gear cables, halo sports wash.

Entire new drive train going on at the weekend (already have the chain and chainset), plus a rear derailleur cable change. I expect I'll be on the train early next week, while someone who knows what they are doing fixes my bike...

Castelli Endurance X2 bib shorts. Now the sun's back out realised I only had one pair of decent summer shorts (not including a faded San Remo speedsuit), so needed some more a bit quick.

Got Wiggle to price match SigmaSport as they're offering a £20 off £100 spend (code: VIVA20). £85 with free delivery via Collect plus (CP seem to mostly deliver in a day IME). Hope they last longer than the Velocissimo's they'll be replacing, as the lycra went embarrassingly thin on the arse on them.
EDIT: used TCB and their extra £2.50 off purchases in month promo so actually just under £80. Not bad..

...and some SRAM Force/Rival 10sp jockey wheels from Amazon of all places. £12
Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...

Curious with that. I've just got both a Garmin Edge 130 and a 520 Bundle on order, both at £138 delivered, and all I really want is a bike centric HRM & C?S Sensor/recording and a 10 hour battery life, rather than using a phone. The element bolt does look great, but I really can't pick apart any real reason for one over the other.
I'm used to a 705, and like a basic map display function, hence the 520, but if I sell the HRM, cadence and speed sensors the 520 ends up costing me about £90, which seems an absolute bargain.

So, what made you chose the Element bolt?

I simply fancied a change wolfsbane. I had a garmin 200, which I donated to my brother when I was given a garmin 500, which died after a couple of years. I like the fact that the user interface seems simple - controlled by the app. I like the look of the display too. Not really a very scientific decision really - more gut feel and positive reviews for the wahoo.

Give me a shout if you want to do it at mine for moral support, immoral guidance, tools, beer and Mr Bump plasters. Should be around most of the weekend with various bits of pottering in the garage.

Thanks, that makes sense. I've held both, like both, and the potential for cr@ppy software issues on the 520 worry me, but for £100 difference, I just can't justify it (not like I can really justify £100 on a cycle computer anyway...)

I bought exactly the same a week or so ago, it is great. Can’t find fault with it at all.

Rapha Brevet SS and SS Windstopper. Oh and nabbed a hardshell off of here too.

It'll be odd wearing the hardshell on Wednesday's commute after Monday's weather.

    - Rapha Core Jersey in bright pink, nicer than expected
    - Not Rapha base layers from Aldi, much, much nicer than expected
    - R8000 rear mech, because FFS I just cannot for love nor money get my 6800 to stay indexed so here we are

Also talking myself into chain wax. Wend looks like a nice lazy way to do it. Anyone have any experience there?

does the R8000 rear mech work with anything other than the complete groupset? i'd like to fit one as well but didnt think they were backwards compatible

Full gruppo is, the only issue you'll run into is the front mech and rings should be used together as the chainrings are slightly wider spaced, for reasons beyond my understanding. That being said my LBS said you'd be fine if you were good enough with your limit screws. I just want the option for a 30t sprocket in case I decide to do an Everest at some point.

An update on a few things I bought recently.

The Odlo jersey and jacket were ok, but didn't fit me properly, even in small, and didn't blow me away quality wise to be honest, so they have been sent back and refunded.

Ordered this from Cycology (I have about 35 of their SS and LS Tees which are stunning quality and fit)

And it's beatiful, and well made, but again too big for me :-(

The best buy in recent times, has been something that is navy, yes, NAVY, would you adam and eve it.
Managed to bag the last one of these Stolen Goat jerseys from Wiggle, and it's a lovely fit, both around my stick arms, and the torso -very chuffed with it, despite it's lack of yellow.
It has a nice zip garage too, and I am a big fan of garages, both for zips, and for bikes and cars.

    *It does have green however.

2XL are still around, and SG themselves have medium in stock - I went Small, and it was actually a good fit.
My Ale all in one suit has arrived, at work, but not in now until Monday, but am expecting good things!

Sorry BM, don't think it does, and it was a limited edition run apparently, 150 examples I think.
SG are pretty re-active though, might be worth dropping them an e-mail to ask, could be something they do in the future.

The fact that I love that jersey, as would your 9 year old, speaks volumes :D

    Here you go:

From my jersey, I would say they run pretty true to what you see above, perhaps marginally smaller - but then it is a race fit.
