Any reason why you didn't go for the 12-28, or the 11-25 cassettes? Since you like low cadence, you might as well go for the lighter, tighter-spaced options. I am personally considering the 12-28 as my next cassette, and I'm a spinner.

Christ, how big is that? The head tube's taller than my seat tube. Are you Peter Crouch?

53-39 Chainset means that an 11-28 is a bit more of a chore than it needs to be on some climbs. by keeping the 11 tooth sprocket, I am still get decent pace on the big ring, at low cadence / high torque, and it’s not going to get to the ‘spin out zone’ as easily as a 12 tooth, on a decent descent ( not that I would spin a 53 / 12 out ) I prefer the selection of sprockets on the 11-32 as well ( off the shelf ). I was working out which set up to use on the Isle of Wight Randonee, and Ride London, so I trialled the 11 speed 52-36 11-30, followed by the 10 speed 53-39 11-28, then the 10 speed 50-34 11-28, and finally the 9 speed triple, with an 11-30 sprocket. The best set up was the 11 speed, with the semi compact and 11-30, out of those choices, so I figure the 53-39 10 speed, with an 11-32 sprocket will be even more to my liking.

Pure Cycles gorgeous India single-speed / fixie was unavailable until September or later but great online response from Harry at Quella means I've ordered a Nero Orange and I'm looking forward to it's arrival.

    aldi:
2 jerseys, 1 shorts, 1 base layer top, 1 base layer vest.

Hit decathlon over the weekend, nothing fitted, and my "summer" stuff all got torn last year, so hoping this is also lightweight stuff.

Nice baselayer vest ( very long) & Jerseys are summer lightweight but a tiny bit small and really not so sure about the mesh vest sizing.

    Good enough for the cash.

    Garmin Edge 130.
Confirmed it is compatible with the older GSC-10s, and just thought sod it.

No, bought it to nick the bits off for my frame as it was only £120. Has Campagnolo Record hubs and a mix Mirage and Shimano bits on it. But I can get mine built and then sell the frame and anything else I don't need.
Looks rather nice though so will ride it around for a bit before stripping it.
Only just got round to looking at the link UE posted, I see his point about ugly brakes.

    Over the Wahoo?

Was torn, I've got to admit, but a discount through work on the 130 meant £130 delivered, and the fact I'm quite into the Garmin garden ( they already have 11 years of riding & walking history) meant I thought I'd stick there.
I've already got 2x HRM and 3x GSC-10s, so it was the head unit only that I needed.

I'll probably regret it; never buy brand new tech...

(equally, the fact that the wahoo element bolt isn't on the Ant+ directory bugged me)

    Wahoo Elemnt Bolt

Have used it on the commute for the past few days. Brilliant bit of kit, setting up via the app was a breeze.

Now need to sell the Garmin 810......

I've never had a camera before and like the fact that this is quite discreet. Not sure what i'll do about a camera on the front though.

Some Le Col bibs with my Strava voucher.

They’re well made but the pad is utter shite! Would 100% send them back if I’d paid the £185 retail on them.

Grabbed the last set of Crud Roadracer Mk3s for £9 with BC discount from the central Southampton store the other day, to put on the Cube, while waiting for hell to freeze over and/or spotting a golden horned unicorn (their eternal "we are going to release a better version of our propriety mudguards").

Yet to try fitting them because naturally, we are now set for sunny weather for the next week.

Has anyone tried doing a "bodge/hack" extension to the rear Crud guard, to extend coverage down to to the bottom bracket?
Or does anyone know of a product that clips on to the seat tube, like the Beavertail guard on my Voodoo, but shorter in length (so it only overlaps a little with these Cruds)?

Thank goodness, I though I was the only one, got mine for £59 using my Strava voucher and I've worn them 4 times and they're going in the bin. I've found the fit really odd, there's too much material around the crotch area so everything moves about and the pad is all at the front, I'm glad I didn't get them at the sale price of £105 and really really glad I didn't pay full whack. It's not even that I bought the wrong size, I'm 6ft, 80kgs and 33in waist so went medium according to their size guide.

What's the issue? I have mk3 cruds on mine. I remember doing a bit of thinking when I put them on but I did get them on including the full back guard.

I can upload a pic when I get home if it helps.

    Exactly the same issues!
The pad is way too far forward. I initially thought I had them on back to front!!!
Compared to the Rapha Pro Team bibs (same marketing / price point), they are nowhere near as good.
I wouldn’t buy again and would tell all to steer clear.

Just seen your reply and opened up the Crud box, I hadn't spotted that seat tube extension piece on pre-purchase photos, that interestingly losses symmetry towards the BB to protect the BB!

I'm shocked to hear the comments on the pad quality on these quite expensive shorts. I would have expected no less than Progetto Air X2 at those prices. Will think twice about this brand now.

For the second time this year, Le Col have a promotin with strava so that, if you do a certain mileage in a certain time, you qualify for a £50 voucher on orders over £100. On february it was 250 km in 2 weeks, and in April it was 160 km in about 3 weeks. Le Col had another promotion in September, but I wasn't in Strava back then so I can't tell you.

My honest view is they're having a hard time selling stuff at RRP and are going via strava to move product and get some visibility.

Exactly the same issue with me! The pad moves all over the place, I'm a medium everywhere else but these are too big for me despite buying a small after using the sizing guide!
Also the straps chafe against my nipples which is something I've never experienced with any other brand of bib short before.

I would say though that I bought a jersey from Le Col which is good but the shorts aren't.

I'm tempted to use the latest Strava voucher code for a jersey which would make it £70.
