The last one of these in black and yellow and in size small for the final amount of £104 (Work discount on top) instead of the RRP of £160 which it has sat at resolutely for the whole summer!

I now have in this design\colourway:

    Lightweight jersey
    Gilet
    Longsleeve jersey
    Jacket

I like the design as you might have guessed.

More than makes up for the Assos site frustrating me for quite sometime this evening.

harsh! Love the SS variants I already have, really good race fit, and quality materials.

I had £8 credit to use which I didn't realise, so bought one for £24 and the other for £32.
    Bargainous!

I particularly like the fact they are not symmetrical, or is that unsymmetrical?

I like a bit of symmreticality, but equally (Or should that be unequally?), I like the opposite.

This is way, way more bike that I have any business riding, but my (satisfactory) insurance settlement from my crash last year (broken femur, etc.) came through, and after the boss vetoed my proposal for a (secondhand) porsche, I went to Road Cycle Exchange in Kingston, and came back with this:

    38585426552_c2cd167b7e_z.jpg

    Cervelo S5 (2016)
    SRAM Red (Etap/Quarq DZero)
    Enve 3.4s (Chris King hubs)

Current status is N = 7 (signature update to come), and now I really do have to stop.

Oh, thankyouverymuch, now I can't erase the image of an s5 with crappy mudguards from my imagination.

Other than that, I only see three options for this weekend:
    • ban all cycling shops' websites at the /etc/hosts.deny level. I'll start with the bargains thread, BTW
    • hint MrsHaggis I'd love a Gabba 3 for Xmas and, oh did i tell you they're 50% off at sigma?
    • surrender, and open the wallet for something i don't really need

you could get another one identical call it say bike 2 and then ride it in the winter

totally what a sane person would do, right?

Couldn't resist a Lazer Z1 from Probikekit. 60 quid less 10% with the Cycling Weekly code and a couple more percent back via TCB.

Z1 is a beauty mate, and what a good price.
Astounded there is not more love for Lazer helmets, they are so darned comfy, better than any other brand I have tried, and I have tried a lot. Have had Genesis, Helium and now the Z1.
Is the cycling weekly code generally available?

Damnit, couldn't hold my finger, and got a pair of Pearl Izumi Elite Amfib Cycle bibtights, in large, at 50% off. I hope the size is right, and that I got the chamois version. According to the reviews, these are lovely for the everlasting Scottish summer. We'll see...

  • My £15 Specialized Cadet shoes from Rutland have literally just arrived, went one euro size higher and they are a good fit while wearing a pair of On One Thicky skull/crossbones socks. 8)

Came with neon blue laces fitted, which match my neon blue Funkier baggies, plus a spare set of navy blue laces in a bag.

Used my £9 reward points from buying the Cube in May, so just £6, bargaintastic!

Just got to look at how "fun" it is removing the cleat cover... I've read some horror stories!

    Good spot just ordered some!
  • Bought a castelli perfetto long sleeve in surf blue which arrived today. Great fit on the arms, waist and shoulders but a tiny bit tight under the pits. My alpha jersey and jacket are a much better fit and I must have tried it on 10 times trying to decide whether it's a keeper!! Unfortunately it's OOS in XL but I think that'd be too big anyway.
Might give it a go on the turbo tomorrow and see how it goes. Be a shame to send it back as it feels like a quality top.

Might order the DHB aeron hybrid soft shell as well which was well rated on road cc recently.
