My bank dutifuly notified me, so the charges are suspended and the card has been deactivated. However, oh the joy, it's also the card on which I purchased the ill-fitting Endura Classic. CRC tell me the refund would be on that "card".
Have you ever had something like this happen to you? Did you manage to get the refund?
Frustrating! You will still get your money back as the reference from the old card is still unique to you, and will just get transferred to the related bank account. (Assuming you are staying with your bank and they will be issuing you a new card).
Thanks for the reply! The box is in its way to CRC, and expect a refund at some point next week. May even get it before the monthly statement.0 -

The new version is more powerful still. 150l over 100.
Slightly annoyed by the charge port design; I have mini usbs all over the house and office but many of the shrouds are too wide to fit into the hole the socket is in.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Made that mistake too, who hasn't? I'm using the saddle rail mount and with a GoPro mont on the rails I thought it wouldn't fit but I've got the GoPro below the rails and Moon above the rails and all is good. The light points downwards to no retina burning for tailgaters.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -

Looking for a sub £90 Bontrager Ballista, :-)
Sigmasport have 10% off helmets this weekend with the code 10HS so the Ballista should be around £810 -

Aye, make that me 3, but with a moon shield X.
The gopro/saddle mount thing really bugs me at present - the tilt on the mount means I can't put it above the rails as there isn't enough space , and if it's down it conflicts with other stuff.
I almost want one that's straight, or at least wider, so that It can be fitted where the rails bend and go further out, so that I can then fit something underneath it.Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Rivelo Garsdale jacket from SportPursuit.
I was looking at the new softshell from Rapha but I missed the Hi Viz sale the were doing and £240 was a bit punchy.
So £99 for the Garsdale. Not ridden in it but I put it on and it seems a nice bit of kit. Big question is how breathable it is.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Bought a Ryder Crux 250 front light, as my Lezyne MacroDuo finally lit it's last ride, from Cycle Republic for £18 with BC discount. Other than charging it fitted straight onto the Lezyne bracket and was pressed into service tonight.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I do have a fair amount, however, I expect that around 75% or more will no longer fit, due to losing 10kg or so in the current year - even the size 2 Kalas Cavendish 6 day jersey I ordered was too big, so that had to go back.
I've been putting off going through my wardrobe, but suspect come March, I will have to sell a load of jerseys that are too big for me, some of them unworn!
I have a raft of jackets, inclusing some of my favourites, to advertise anytime soon :-(
I ordered a couple of Pactimo jerseys earlier this year and really liked them and the fit, so thought the above was a nice design, and was 20% off, plus that thermal cap thing looks like it could be handy - covers the ears too.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

I'd recommend it - bumped into other people I knew there who are much more into watching the TDF and other races and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it helped he grew up locally, and knew the local cycle sports teams etc, having done some research & tweaked his show to incorporate them.Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Same here. Got a Moon Comet XPro to replace an ancient Cateye. Excitedly unpacked it at my desk. Amazed by it's diminuitive size, I thought I'd just see what the new generation of LEDs was all about. Had a black rectangle floating in my vision for quite a while afterwards; most distracting.
I'm sure there's some kind of warning there in the packaging that went straight in the bin...0 -

Can't see myself springing for a full hydraulic group anytime soon, intrigued to see how much better/different they are from my Spyres - less fettling will definitely be good.0 -

A cheap stem to fit my old narrow flat bars, some ergo grips and some semi-slick tyres so I can press my old MTB into commuter action while I wait for the warranty on the saracen to get sorted.

Just forked out for a Lezyne Macro Drive 1100xl to replace my Exposure Trace. Looking forward to riding through Richmond Park tonight!0
-
I went for the super drive 1500xl recently. Pretty flippin bright, but doesn't last long on the super bright modes would be my only gripe.Blog on first season road racing http://www.twhatley.com/0
-
Tried mine out last night. Lot of improvement over the Exposure. None of them last long on Super Bright or Overdrive tbf. My gripes would be the stupid recessed charging port is fiddly to connect and the lack of a quick release mount like you get with Exposure lights.0
-
Yeah, there's a hard mount kit you can buy from tredz or the like which enables you to use it as a quick release.

The port disappeared into the body on my Lezyne after a very short time.
Replaced under warranty for a model with the USB connection sticking out - this looks vulnerable too and the rubber cap has been lost after a few months use, so now botched with a stretched balloon and a plastic cover.
Lamps are great, but the fittings are not.0 -
