Dont try the 'climbers' jerseys - they are even smaller than the aero ones...!

Was (i think) the last one at Sigma Sports, at 40'odd % off. Had been in my basket all weekend when they had 3 shown as in stock, but pressed the button when it came down to one. Had heard mixed reviews with regards to sizing so this could well be going back if it's way too small.

Hmm i have two of those and find them to be race fit but short with the open neck, okay on the bike but odd off

You can blame me for the shoot weather, thought it was getting warm enough for a proper summer jersey. Soz
Also some new jazzy socks, given the "sock game" hadn't been particularly great up until this point.
I bought one of these. By God is it "race fit". I'm a medium or large in most, but XL in this is tiiiigghht.

I have been tempted by this very jersey a couple of times, but I must resist. Where did you pick it up from?

Dunno about L2R, but I got mine from Castelli Café with a couple of others, with my £60 off voucher. I think it was on sale as well. Just checked and it doesn't seem to be there any more.

MTB wheelset has arrived and very smart they look too, those should prevent anymore accidental slips

2 x Conti Grand Prix GTs ordered this morning.

Hoping the 255g saved per wheel and Black Chili magic might jazz up my commutes a tad...

3 different overshoes - DHB Aeron in Black and Orange (£9.99 each) and a Northwave H20 Winter overshoe (£14.99).

Well, these arrived last night, and tried today.
All very light/thin, fit well, but very little confidence they'll last long, given I wear them with MTB SPD shoes so when walking they get stood on, but think i'll keep the orange & Northwave winter.
Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

The zipper on my Northwaves gave up in a matter of days. They were the right size according the chart, and think the larger size would have been a little flappy. If I persevere I can still get the zip teeth to mesh and do them up, but a bit of a faff so now rarely use them. Hope you have better luck. Ironically, the material itself seemed remarkably resilient :?

Darn. Arrived yesterday, but too tight for my luv handles (wasn't too aware I had them before I tried this jersey on  ). Free returns to Sigma actioned today. The jazzy socks I'd also bought were (perhaps appropriately for me given the experience with the Aero jersey) the Castelli Fatto's  Nice socks, apart from the fact they're made with a warm Primaloft weave and I was really after some nice thin summer socks. Might keep for autumn, but limited visual impact if worn with bibtights (tart)....

Cheers for the heads up. I was going to keep them as backups, as the aero orange are really nice and light compared to the BBB Heavy duty ones I had that broke a few weeks ago that are in the warranty loop...

Sorry to hear that - wonder if it would fit moi?

Good call on the socks, saw Wiggle had them on for £7.50 but none in the colour and size I was after - however Evans had these in XXL for £8.99, and I had a gift card to use up:

I only have Planet X thicky (thicko?) merino socks as winter socks, which are excellent and dirt cheap, but it will be nice to have something a bit more luxurious.

^DB, I reckon it'd be a good fit on you after your recent monster turbo workouts! Keep an eye on the Sigma Sport website, as it'll be back in stock in a few days (I did see an XL had also gone back into stock this morning, presumably another return). Think id need a need large in this, as a little tighter than my other medium Castelli jerseys. It was certainly a quality item in a nice colourway, so a little disappointed it didn't fit well...

Who'd have thought a pair of socks could be so good?!. Those Fatto's have some lovely cushioning. As well as the flouro ones above i got a pair in "anthracite". Chuffed to note the light grey matches the matt "primer" touches of my new frame, but the darker grey perfectly matches a couple of Castelli tops i have in the "Mirage" colourway - is it wrong that makes me really happy, combined with a feeling a great contentment   Probably helped that I had a very enjoyable (zen-like) ride today despite the 30 mph winds here. Question is, how much did the new socks contribute?

I will keep my eye on Sigma L2R - ta!

@JP - liking the colour of your Ulterga bike too ;-) Looks speedy :D

I will almost certainly regret this (From a wallet perspective) but I have just ordered these:

Together with silver lenses - hoping they will be too big for me, as I love my radarlocks.
Someone tell me they are rubbish or something - appreciate the styling is not to everyone's taste.

Also went for one of these in XS (All they had) on a wing and a prayer I will fit into it

Pair of Scott Leap glasses. Much, much more than I'd usually spend, but they are really, really nice. Still use my old Uvex ones for driving, off-road etc.

Rapha Pro Team shorts - XS.

Comfiest summer shorts I've ever worn.

^ Yeah, saw the review, look to be very good value at £50 bibs, £40 Jersey. Kicking myself though as they'd been in my basket for a week or so, when they were doing 10% off site-wide and free delivery over 75 quid. Deal had expired by time I decided to hit the button, but still look to be great value nonetheless. Am liking the plainer look too (flouro hints on exiting helmet, mitts and shoes should hopefully help keep me visible on the road)

I've been suckered into the Rapha 25% off code thing.

Went for a bundle of these two, for £123 (Still pricey I appreciate, seperately they are £210!) and a pair of mitts as mentioned in another thread - be interested to see what they are all like, and if any are keepers.

Rapha core bundle. £105 with the discount code. Not bad for a pair of Rapha bibs and jersey. First time I've bought Rapha clothing so interested to get my hands on it. Opted to try Rapha after being less than impressed with the castelli quality over the past few months.
