Just bought an Fizik 400mm ally seat post and a 35 degree raised stem. Not been happy with my frame size recently.

Being tall is a PITA at times.

Topeak Back loader 6ltr seat pack for the Arkose graveller...Merlin cycles (links over on the "...bargains spotted..." thread, as good discounts on the 6 and 10ltr variants )

    NIce!

Also for DB who was asking earlier. Topeak Backloader 6ltr fitted to the single speed graveller...best bit is the waterproof inner bag with a novel air release valve to dump air when using the roll top enclosure. Clever. Looks to be a very versatile size, and just what I was looking for :)

The red stuff is good grease, so good that a local shop refuses to sell it.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

6lt is perfect if you are travelling light and staying in hostels and B&Bs. I have a 2.7 lt Ortlieb, which is more an Audax size, up to 400 km I would say.

What is the logic of touring single speed?

^ have acquired a few bits on the cheap to convert it to 1 x 11 (Sram bar end shifter, Sunrace wide range cassette, and Apex 1 rear derailleur). Arguably should have done the conversion before getting the bag, but couldn't resist at the Merlin sale price. Reckon it'll work ok on the Solace too for longer rides this summer, though strictly not necessary I'd admit.

Thought I should make use of a Wiggle code:
Pair of kids mitts for my daughter who is on the verge of riding properly - hoping to have her sorted before her 4th birthday.
    Altura-Kids-Airstream-Mitts-Short-Finger-Gloves-Black-Pink-NotSet-AL19YAIP5.jpg?w=430&h=430&a=7

Black and yellow, nothing more to say.
    Giro-Bravo-Gel-Mitts-Short-Finger-Gloves-Black-Yellow-GI19BRA9S.jpg?w=430&h=430&a=7

Sale mitts for turbo use (Red means I will only wear them in the garage under cover of darkness)

Green and Yellow GOODNESS - ordered one a few weeks ago when CRC had them on offer, but they only had medium which was way too roomy, so popped a small in for effectively £40 with the £15 off code.
Not for bike use, thinking to use it as a waterproof throw on layer when out for a walk in that there countryside.

    From Evans:
    - Topeak steerer tube saw guide.
    - pack of peanut butter Cliff bars
    From CRC:
    - Hacksaw with 32 tpi blade (to trim a couple of alu steerers)
    - Carbon-specific hacksaw blade (to shorten a couple of carbon steerers).

Wish me luck with the trimming, I'm a first timer!

When I first started cycling regularly, back in the early 90's, these were the 'go to' gloves of choice that were available in all my local bike shops. Real leather palms and string back ensured that your hands never got sweaty, even in the hottest weather. These ones for £2.99 on eBay are well made, and bargainistic. Wore them for the commute this morning, and they were just as comfortable as I remember.

The dry lube came with a UV light, and the lube fluoresces under the light. I have no idea what the point of this is, but I am quite excited about it.

Grasping at straws here, but are any modern car lights using UV, so it is to help make you chain and other bits of bike splattered in lube glow in the dark?

The theory is that you can use it to check if the bike needs relubing. Shine the light on it and it will show you bits of the chain that do/dont still have lube on them. Of course, lube on the surface of the chain is meaningless - its whether there is any inside the links that counts....

Love the green and black, sorry now I bought my northwaves.

On leather mitts, the galibier ones are cracking gloves, comfortable and good looking. Shame mine have no luck in them, haven't placed in a race I've worn them. My Exteondo Bali mitts are definitely lucky.
