Taken a punt on these Uranium framed ones with Jade lenses - youth size, so may be snug, or too snug, I do have a bit of a peahead, so hoping to get lucky.

    Will they arrive?

Yes they will arrive but as you say, won't be quick. Not had anything go missing in the three years I've been buying off AliExpress
    will they be rubbish?

Could be , on the other hand some items have been good too.
Will my bank account be emptied?

Not had any worries with this, your bank details are held securely on a scrap of paper by some bloke in Peking who then goes to the local Western Union and transfers the money to the seller when you confirm the item has arrived. Payments are made to AliExpress who holds the funds till you confirm delivery then releases the funds to seller that is why you need to confirm delivery of the goods.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Mate, i bought some radars from Ali-Express, pic on the website was of a blank plain frame, turned up fully branded frames, lenses, carry case...the works. A mate of mine bought some of another style and even got the lenses tested at Specsavers...fully UV protective etc!

    I think i paid £12 included delivery!

One of the big concerns for me with Aliexpress stuff is not the UV protection - that's easy.
It's the strength/deformation tests that should be done to meet CE marking, and then the trust that they have been made to that standard that worries me.
I'd rather have trust in the things protecting my eyes rather than none..

Campy CX Carbon chainset. Going to convert my Sigma to Campy to match the Bottecchia. I'm now a full Campag fanboy, and anything else just isn't up to it.

If anyone has some 10-speed Ergo levers & Centaur or above 10-speed rear mech going cheap, let me know!

Hmmm, I'm going to come across like a right spoiled brat here, but, I'm looking for the black (preferably carbon effect) look. Thanks though - appreciate it.

I'm a bit of a tart and always willing to join in with the latest trend (well, aside from tattoos; I'm not that vain) so have decided to increase my sock game from lame (black or grey or variants of black and grey) to strong with the purchase of some Castelli Fausto socks from Ev*ns this lunchtime

    28840_castelli_fausto_socks_2017.jpg

I also always wear a cap under my lid for various reasons (fashion, sun, sweat, all three) but my thickish winter cap is getting a bit sweaty over the last few weeks so I upgraded to a thin summer version (Castelli inferno) in preparation for climbing in the Alps in July

    BLA.jpg

Strong sock game and caps aplenty in evidence in my latest video which covers my 225km ride from Richmond Park to Oxford and back a couple of weeks ago. Special feature is the now infamous 'stella shower' scene (safe for work).

I have a 10 speed Centaur carbon rear mech in the shed, never quite made it to eBay. Some Centaur skeleton brake calipers as well (silver).

Been after a stand to lift the backwheel up for those times when I need to play with the gears/brakes and couldn't find anything cheap but browsing in my local Cycle Surgery jumble sale I came across on of these marked up at £22 like other retailers but with the CDS 20% made it under £18.

Torq Summer Shandy gels flavoured with Adnams Mosaic Pale ale.

Can't taste any worse than then the 'fruit' flavour of most gels.

Seems Shimano limit screws may have been outsourced to FSA. Not sure what else would explain them being made of Camembert.

'Zinc plated mild steel screws with a Phillips pan head.'
Probably not as good as stainless but hopefully they'll not rust up straight away with a bit of a zinc plating.

Yeah. I'll pick up some stainless steel ones with a torx head I think to swap them out I think. Screwfix had sold out of these
