Can't taste any worse than then the 'fruit' flavour of most gels.

Still have some of the special edition winter shandy gels (with Adnams Ghostship ale). Preferable to normal fruit flavours imho...will get some of the summer shandies in for when my current stock runs out :)

2 x Conti GO 4000s ii in 28mm for less than £50 and free delivery. Treating the new Solace to some faster summer rubber (will keep the stock Duranos for crappy weather)....

Yup - I have one f these and there was something about it that I thought was especially crappy given the cost - possibly those rubber bands.

A Fagor short sleeve jersey. Had one of these in long sleeve over 20 years ago but the elastic on the waist perished.

Funnily enough one of those was the first proper bike tool I bought.
I don't know that I've had £50 of usage out of it yet, but it did prove very handy when I had to drill out the threads on my trek and put in a droput saver - trek wanted a hundred odd quid to replace the hanger.

I think the rubber bands are the only part of it that might need replacing in 50 years time.

For the gravel bike, after taking our new dog for a walk on the Ridgeway last week and meeting a few cyclists who didn't bother to announce their approach when descending at speed behind us. I've always hollered a friendly "bike behind," when approaching walkers or horse riders, but figured a bell might be even better after last week's role reversal.....

6.99 from Amazon, ordered yesterday, delivered, fitted and used to great effect today! :)

Sound is very clear being front-facing and doesn't take up much room on the bars at all. Pretty discrete.

SLX MTB wheelset for £98 from ribble, should be a bit better off road than my superstar road disc with slick tyres

I've got those one the family bikes; both the expensive kickstarter ones and the cheap Chinese imitations. Excellent bells. Still roundly ignored by all pedestrians but they sound nice and clear.

You can blame me for the shoot weather, thought it was getting warm enough for a proper summer jersey. Soz
Also some new jazzy socks, given the "sock game" hadn't been particularly great up until this point.

Chrome? Unfortunately not. Always forget about the image search function of google as well though.

I had one (actually, I had 3! stashed in various rescue boxes etc) - which made it all the more annoying - no way to get the snapped link off to insert the quicklink.

Colour scheme reminiscent of Wimbledon F.C. strip circa 1977-8, but will spend 99% of its time in the cellar, so no biggie.
