finally tracked down a supplier of nitrate gloves with finger grips, excellent quality unlike the cheap baggy ones that rip when putting on.

bits a bobs ordered to replace so many little broken or worn parts, it all adds up £££
Do you have a link to your glove supplier?.

    these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190966896438

8.99 for 100 gloves more than i've paid previously but seeing as these can be reused loads of times its better value for money in the long run

Been on a shopping binge. Insurance payout in so:

    New Bianchi Oltre
New group set to put on it (changing from campagnolo to Ultegra for various reasons - mainly power meter)
    New carbon 3T aeronova bars
    New Fizik carbon R1 Arione
    New bottle cages
New brake and gear cables (for another bike to service)
Think I better stop before wife kicks off.

This what I first used on my BB30a Synapse before going down the route of the C-Bear BB. I still have them after they were removed from my bike and they worked faultlessly for the 6 or so months they were fitted. You are welcome to try them.

Thanks, that's very generous - will send a PM. I had looked at them and want to give them a go first before full BB :)

Gore Element Gore Text jacket in neon yellow for commuting in the very wet weather, and the odd ride with the road bike. I didn't have a wet weather jacket and this gets good reviews, fits me well being Gore and it was fairly cheap at £70.

Moon Shield X Auto for £19 over at Cycle Surgery

Wanted/needed (delete as applicable) a new rear light quickly after losing one yesterday so popped into my local Cycle Surgery on the way to work and took the bike into the store, the lights were just inside the door as was the till. Picked up the light off the display and saw it priced at £38, told the girl on the till the website had them at £19 and she said it's coming up at £17.10 anyway.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Raidon fork, 1x11, hydraulic brakes for £342... Bargaintastic in 2017, with bike prices on the up! :D

    I raided Atheleteshop last night...
    Jumbo Jim 4.0" and 4.4"
    SKS Grand DAD front mudguard
    SKS Beavertail XL mudguard set

Only slight surprises were £7.08 for delivery to local store (£1 extra for home delivery) and if I wanted to pay by Paypal, there was a fee of ~£2.80 plus ~3.5% of payment, so I paid by debit card for free!

Ooh, that's a good price. I bought two at £19 online, but about to head to a store to return one, will have a hunt around to see what else they have of offer!

I've had two pair of Specialised shoes for years and the sole is coming away from the upper and Sugru hasn't worked for me. Most annoying is the pair thats failed are the pair that don't stink of cat pee.

That's a good price for a 520, does that include speed and cadence sensors?

Sony Smartwatch 3 garmin mount adapter:
    https://www.shapeways.com/product/38UUD ... -bike-clip

Seems to work nicely, haven't had a chance to use it on a ride yet. At the time I ordered there was a code to remove the rather excessive delivery fee, something like shipitfree, definitely worth looking for one as delivery was not cheap otherwise.

£9.32 to ship a mount... Jesus wept and all his disciples!

Spent some christmas money on the Carradice SQR Slim as I wanted a more balanced commutting solution. I found it wouldn't fit on my bike - the clearance required to lever it on seems massive. I've got 20cm between saddle rails and mudguard, but it loks like it needs another 10cm on top of that.

Looks like I'll need a Bagman, which is shame as it increases costs a lot to buy mount and bag seperately.

Unfortunately it's not the bundle, am I right thinking I only need the cadence sensor? surely the gps can do speed well enough? :)

Cannondale Save 25.4 seatpost. Should knock about 80g off my current Cannondale C2 seatpost.

Found one for £85 down from £100 on PedalOn.

Yes gps does the speed, there's also a heart rate meter if you are interested in data, that can be bought separately as well

How long is it, it doesn't seem to say?

So you believe it is lighter than a C2 carbon seatpost - must make that one about 300g - are you Di2?

This place reckons it is 350mm, which is what I would need.

Three Shimano crank pinch bolts which is as many as Evans would let me order.

Have rounded a few when swapping power meter between bikes.
