top tip keep your pump in your jersey pocket, when there mounted on the frame water and mud destroys it
Or have it in a suitable sized inner tube, like a condom.
Means a few extra seconds to roll it down, but then it's still on your bike, rather than in the jacket you left at home...

    :D

Just FYI, they are exactly the same, bar the branding, as these from PX:

But with PX, you would need to buy 11 pairs to get free postage :?

Great idea, thanks. Don't want the pump in my pocket in case I come off!

I use CO2 and have a micropump as back-up. I keep both in the tool bottle (along with patches, lever, chain link, spare tube(s), tool and emergency blanket) on the bike.

That Wiggle voucher is probably the best voucher since sliced bread, if you like spending money that is :D. It sometimes works in baskets under £50.

I have just bought a Garmin Combo mount for my Virb and my 520, another Craft baselayer and a chain keeper for £36. Bargain.

Has anyone used "wigglelove" code on baskets over £50 as an existing member and still had Topcashback tracked?

If so, surely it's a no-brainer to order a £44 Polar H7 sensor from them and a £9 spare cassette?

I pulled the trigger last night on the H7 sensor and a pair of orange Dafeet E-touch Dura Neon gloves, £10 code worked fine.

I discovered the HG41 cassette was being sold at £9, the same as the presumably better HG51 at Ribble, where I'm almost certainly going to order an FSA No.11N headset from a bit later.

Now where I did mess up at Wiggle was I clicked my Topcashback app window in the top corner of the pc desktop (tells you cashback at sites you visit), which took me to TCB site and I then clicked the top "get cashback" link without scrolling down the page. After buying, I closed the Wiggle window, TCB did its usual thing of saying it recorded the visit, but I then scrolled down their page for Wiggle to find a link for cashback and £10 off £50.
It's exactly the same code, but because I did not use TCB's link, I'm concerned I won't get the cashback (no sign of it yet).

Hmm if it recorded the visit and you went on it later it should be ok! It can take a while to track sometimes. I signed up to a mobile contract and didn't get the confirmation email about cashback until the next day but that was quidco.

I have used it with Quidco around 6 or 7 times in the last couple of months, it has tracked every time.

    Yesterday I bought

    2 Cycology trunks
    A morvelo t-shirt
    a muc-off sponge

    £37 all in.

I figured out that the £50 doesn't take into account the rewards. So if you are like me a compulsive buyer, you will have Platinum, so a £44 purchase (with £6 reward saving) will also trigger the code.

    - Garmin Edge 520
    - Another pair of padded underwear
    - Spare roll of bar tape
    - Two cycling water bottles cause I use aluminium screw ones at the moment and have to stop to drink
By the time I get my cashback from AMEX and Quidco it will have cost me £150 all in :)
  • Anyone here tried to use Topcashback recently with a Wiggle purchase?

I can't accurately recall the delay from ordering a few bits last September to getting recognition in my Topcashback account dashboard (plus an e-mail) to say the purchase had been tracked, I think it was within a few hours, but I'm still waiting for anything to show up from Saturday's purchase of the Dafeet gloves and Polar H7.

I just checked my TCB and the last tracked Wiggle purchase was 17th Jan.
I ordered something else only about a week ago and another probably a week before that? So no it's not just you... my last two haven't tracked

Thinking of upgrading the shifters on my bike from 105 5800 to DA as I heard they feel 100x better, any thoughts? worth the money? any idea how much I could get for the 105 5800 shifters if I was to sell them after upgrading?

I ordered a couple of sweat guards, and an ant stick today, and used the discount code. Had tracked on tcb 2 hours later. Recent ones may not have tracked though, so there may have been a glitch.
You can make a manual claim I think, date and order number etc.

Never tried Dura ace, but would be surprised if they felt 100 x better.

As for value, just search for what a new pair are going for, and factor in condition and usage.

Discovered cracking around the spoke holes on my commuter yesterday during a routine service, going to see if they're under warranty as I've not had the bike a year yet but in the meantime I've bought some Aksium Disc wheels to get me by. Not fitted them yet, but they look pretty slick I have to say. Fingers crossed they're robust enough.

I'd say the difference in use might not be worth £450 more, but the sound of Di2 when changing gear may be :)

The shifters are a much nicer shape on Di2 than mech IMHO. In fact, it's hard to tell the difference between the Di2 hydraulic shifters and Di2 rim shifters. Only you can say whether the benefits of Di2 and the better aesthetic are worth it. I thought so.
