That repeating logo seems like it could be inspiration for a Macc Lads song - "ale, ale, we want more ale, all the lads are cheering.."

Some Bioracer bits and bobs from sportpursuit.com
  • Fed up of slack chains on my fixed gear over long distances I decided I needed a chain tug. I also needed a way to get my buzz on with a few brewskis*. Enter the Surly Tuggnut:

    CH9999.jpg

*Obviously I won't be drinking and riding, I went for the Tuggnut as it can be adjusted with your fingers rather than faffing with allen keys or spanners when you're changing a puncture.

My M540s finally gave up this morning (left bearing is fooked), so treated myself to these bad boys:

Wow, that is light for clipless, basically same weight as my Wellgo C162 flats!

What make/model? I can't make out enough detail from any clues in the photo!

Cruel fate has left me with two surplus M540 left pedals (and two rights with knackered bearings) - let me know if you're interested in one of them (or if the right is in not that shabby condition I'd have it off you).

The lefts are in practically new condition, having done perhaps 200 miles tops.

    2x Btwin 500 road bibs
    1x Btwin 500 windproof Jersey.
    1x Btwin tool bottle &cage.
    And
    1x Btwin pedal spanner
    1x btwin chain whip

First ever bibs, but for the price they made sense compared to the endura tights, which are going back.

When I wear the lot,I'm sure I'll just be a riding advertisement for them, and feel like I've been splattered with their effulence.

After the last few weeks of cr@p coming up off the road onto my chain that now needs cleaning I bit the bullet and bought a spare chain and Park chain tool. The chain from Wiggle and the chain tool from their Irish partners which was more expensive than buying from the mainland.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Probably. Question is 2 crates of ale, or a crate of cookies.

Popped into my local Cycle Surgery work the intention of buying a moon bracket for my Aldi clone which I did but also bought a Knog Gekko light which they price matched with planet x who are seeking them off for £3 upwards but they included post too which made it a £7 light, still better than the £10 they had or priced up for.

Apologies matey, I saw SP said he often fitted in to xs or s kit, so thought it would be perfect. Should have put what sizes were left though

Due to mcvw posting about a cheap wiggins jersey at Rapha, I ended up ordering these - I blame him entirely.

  • A large proportion of my cycling kit is Rapha (bought in sales obviously) but I struggle to find designs I like now other than the traditional classic jerseys, Daniel's jersey I actually like but a lot of the new designs leave me cold.

The Pro Team soft-shell gloves and my go to.

Mix with merino liners for the cold days, and you have an very warm and extremely dexterous pair of gloves.

Thanks Ryan - I noticed there seem to be more than the odd review that stated the seam or stitching inside the left hand glove was rather uncomfortable, is that something you have experienced at all?
Not an issue if you have liners on I guess, but did seem a bit weird, unless they have addressed it since those reviews.

Raleigh light rack mount thing twice since they appear to accept moon lights, and are 1/4 the price.
