Bought a Fork from Planet X to go with my new frame, ordered late monday.

    It arrived yesterday.

Yesterday evening got the email confirming my order.

Just got the email confirming that it was picked and being prepared for dispatch.

Do they send their emails second class or something?

Another Cycology long sleeved t-shirt from Wiggle. I loved the first one I got so had to get a second one, would be rude not to at less than £20 for one.
Also got me some Oakley Turbines from Wiggle too for non cycling stuff for £74 which isn't bad for some decent shades.

my spares + tools order from superstar just arrived and by UPS no less, no haribo mind

I was surprised that a couple of the items size in the flesh are the opposite of what i was expecting, i bought a third hand tool which is very small and a crown race remover which is huge.

finally have a campag freehub for my ultra wheelsets, cheaper to buy that than upgrade all my bikes from 10 to 11 speed.

sora road disc calliper which is much heavier than i was expecting far more so than the SLX or avid sets i have on my mtb

might send it back for the cx model even though the review I read said the only real difference was a few extra grams and the cx has more adjustments making it a bit more tricky to setup, hmmmm

I've got a pair of AVID BB7 road calipers if you want. Keep meaning to sell them and never seem to get round to it. Some spare pads as well.

Chainreaction bargain, although my 'arris will decide if it really is a bargain.

    £85?

I was tempted, and actually ordered one before from Merlin when they had them for a ton, but I'm too invested in the Arione CX and 00 (Which I think is the same weight as this one) across my bikes to want to risk a change, plus I like some colour!

EDIT: Ah you bugger, I spotted the Alu railed version for a smidge under £65, so have ordered it ostensibly for the turbo bike

cheers for the offer but i think i'll just stick with BB5 on the back and Sora on the front for now

They are supposed to hold the screws so they don't come loose. You can clip them on after everything else is fitted.

They're just things I'm sure the lawyers insist on.

Do up the screws. You can then clip these things over the head of the screw and the serrated teeth inside the clip will engage with the serrated teeth on the lower half of the screw head. The pointy bit of the clip will then stop the screw coming loose.

Since the screws already have threadlock on them, I very much doubt these screws are necessary if the screws are adequately tightened in the first place.

    Make sense?

I fitted mine into the spares container.

Once the screws been fitted. That makes sense. Picture in manual I had showed them fitting under the screw head, and that, unsurprisingly, didn't work.

I tried to find a picture of them fitted to illustrate the point as I couldn't word it any better than MRS had. Several pictures of Shimano calipers fitted using the screws with serrated heads for those clips, not one had the clips fitted. I found one picture of the screw with the clip on it, but the clip was in the wrong place. If I remember I could take a picture of the boy's bike as that has them on. The brakes on my MTB are lockwired on, completely OTT but nicely fitted lockwire does look good.
  • Pro Team Gilet from Rapha in the sale. I have a £50 voucher to spend and they came down to this price so went for it. I've lost two Endura ones out of my pocket, hopefully I won't lose this one...

I ordered it yesterday before 3pm with next day delivery but I've not received any info about delivery, just an order confirmation. The order status on my account just reads order received, does anyone know if that's normal? First time I've ordered from them and I would have expected to see shipped or something like with CRC etc.

Normal you would get a mail and in your account it should read dispatched. With further discounts yesterday I would say it's just because of volume, if you paid to get it delivered today and it does not arrive drop them a mail and they should refund the postage.

I picked up the bervet bibs for 100 and another merino vest for 35. First rapha bibs hope they are comfortable. Mine are yet to ship but I picked free shipping.

Thanks, I'll drop them an email and see what's what. I'm slightly worried as I just had a quick look and what I ordered is now out of stock, will have to wait and see...

I've got a few mates who love their Rapha bibs, I've stuck with Pactimo as they fit me very well and they use Cytech chamois'.

    Moon Shield X - Auto for £19.99.
Wanted a USB rechargeable backup light after one of my 2 aldi nebula's knock-off died.
    Job done.
Bonus is it's compatible with all the existing aldi mounts (or is that the aldi lights are all compatible with the moon mounts) I have, so will be able to use the same lights on both bikes with minimal fiddling.

Turned up, tested and blinded myself.
That's bright. Daylight flash, combined with the nebula full power solid is quite a combination for the foggy days...
