    4.5kg my scales make it!

I'm guessing you can write that one off then.

No that's not too bad and thanks to Turkish Airlines 30kg luggage allowance! I assume it would pack down into a suitcase ok?

Ah fair do's - my bathroom scales make is 4.3kg.

Yep, it packs down pretty small, it came in a box that was 52 X 11 X 30.

Athleteshop still seems to be the best price, Evans seem to be the cheapest in the UK at £65 just for the seat.

Thanks Daniel appreciate the help. I will probably hold of until the new year so if you set it up in the meantime and have any other opinions (positive or negative) then let me know if you don't mind! A few reviews had said that it is better if the bike has a rack

I got mine here for 52 euro
    Pre Brexit though

  • A Garmin mount that fits to the stem plate - like this - would have probably bought the Lifeline version from Wiggle but it was OOS when I ordered (from Taiwan for a lot less than Wiggle want)

    Apologies for the non-yellowness

Bike is scruffy and needs a clean - it's also pitch black out there.... With/without the Garmin mounted

I spun the wheel, and looks like I hit the PX lottery with this one, as everything has now gone up.
If I wanted to place the same order, it would now cost me an additional £78!!!!
The panniers are up y £10, the Knog's have gone up by £8, the locks have gone up by £20, plus everything else has doubled in price or more!

FWIW, that TdF bell is louder and considerably cheaper than my Knog Oi!

Can't for the life of me see what that red thing is - looks like a Fisher Price cigar cutter.

I used them for cutting pneumatic pipe or general small diameter tubing, used to be freebies to me. Can't think of a cycling application.

Cheers Dr L, it's for my daughters bike, so that will please her!
The red thing is for cutting hydraulic piping, or thin cigars (cigarettes?) perhaps.

Thanks - I hadn't realised that cabling on hydraulic brakes was so sensitive to cutting; I've used a Stanley knife when redoing a junction to the caliper.

Used but in good knick Dura Ace shifters and mechs; will look for some callipers after the new year.

Other half's Liv will get an upgrade to as I'll be putting the Ultegra currently on the Helium on that.

I fully expect you are correct, but it was a £2 item that landed me free postage, so ended up saving me £2!

Just nabbed one of these. Cheers for the heads up Dan!

Got this in the post on Saturday. Incredible service! The jacket itself looks like even more of a steal. Excellent fit and feel and looks well sealed up on the inside. Long flap at the back the zip to get to pockets is a real bonus. The nerd in me likes the elasticaed cuffs aswell.

Excellent stuff SB - mine arrived today, but not had a chance to open it - suspect they tried to deliver on Saturday but I had it sent to work.

Glad initial impressions are even better :-)

They only have 4 left now, when I ordered it was low 40's.
