For the commuter. FSA crank I have (SLK Carbon 2007) is terrible, that range has a lot of problems, so getting rid of it.

I ordered Planet X Sl Pro Pink with Ultegra 6700 for the girlfriend on the weekend. Her first road bike, she is a good runner and wants to start road cycling.

A box of 30 Co2 canisters from Tyre Inflators.
A DMR Swopout Chain Tug which I'm praying will fit the Decade's weird 'Swopout' track ends.
Pack of five conti tubes - worried that these will fail given LiT's current issues, but Vittoria ones where out of stock and I'm running an 80mm valve in normal wheels at the mo - it looks very wrong...

    All the glamorous kit basically.

Ordered a Medium, it was baggy, so sent it back and ordered a small. Between the two orders Wiggle dropped the price by another fiver - thanks, Wiggle !

Canti straddle cables and spare brake cables - yup, I'm there on the glamourous bike parts too.

    Oh, and this:

x2 Kenda Kontender 700x26 tyres for the fixie, inspection has revealed that they're mostly fabric on the sides.

I've had barely any fairy visits, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

One of these from the bikeshop by the seaside. Going to an online shop works sometimes, got it for half price because a velcro strip was missing.

And I walked away with one of these too.

    dscf315.th.jpg

It does work with other beers/lagers too.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Hi Guys,

I converted one of my MTBs to single speed for commuting and I'm loving it..
I bought a DMR conversion kit with 16T sprocket , tensioner and spacers approx £30.00
    CRC free delivery.
a pair of Schwalbe city jets 1.5s brand new from Ebay £18.99 free delivery.
A middleburn 38T chainring hardly used off Ebay for £4.00 plus £2.00 delivery total £6.00.
The 32T one I left on the bike was too spinny.
A smart polaris light set front and rear from CRC £12
I already have this light set and it's fantastic the batterys last for ever but I wanted to have two up front , they cost £16 to buy seperate so I saved £4.00 and have a spare rear light.
A Peugeot Elite Racing bike with carbolight frame and rear pannier rack off of Gum tree for £15.00. Its in VGC.
I intend to convert this to a summer singlespeed commuter.
    TOTAL SPEND = £81.99.

I sold the shifters off the MTB on Ebay for £19.49
    The rear derailleur for £9.11
I had a wheel chair lying around for over a year that I bought off Ebay for £40.00.
I bought this to get my wife out and about after she broke her leg.
I sold it on Ebay for £51.55.
    This is the best bit.
I sold the rack off the Peugeot for £10.00 so the Peugeot in actual fact only cost me a fiver.
    TOTAL SOLD £90.15.

    Total spent £81.99
    Total Sold £90.15
Total Gained £8.16 plus all the bits and bobs I wanted.
    Who's a clever boy then.

    Regards
    Supergunn.
