As spotted by an eagle eye over at LFGSS.

Hand-built steel, full Mirage groupset and 650 wheels. I think my short arse missus will love it. She'll have a better bike than me, so she'd better!

Compared to a Spec Dolce, it's half the price and hopefully a much better fit.

A 'performance' top and shorts from Lidl - I don't think I'd wear them without something over the top...

    And a vest - black lady-shaped

And a white jersey, which isn't in their pictures.

Whilst doing my bit to help global warming because it's bleeding freezing i've been randomly ordering single items from wiggle and would you know every order has had a little bag of sweets, I wonder how many they have to bulk buy

PS. I don't even like them

Anyone thinking of getting the Castelli team cap, it's MASSHOOF

Snap .... almost , I got the blue vest and black 'performance' top for £14.

There was very little else in my local branch (Cheadle Stockport), I'm going on the search for another 'performance' top tomorrow because they are very comfy.

Also, that woman's legs are freakishly wide apart. And she has very skinny thighs. I doubt she could ride a bike...
  • Following on from getting some Biemme Coronado thermal bib-tights a few pages back, I've been impressed enough to buy some of their bib-shorts too. I've only really ridden in Aldi kit before, but the difference in fit, quality and comfort is marked.

Admittedly the Aldi cycling trousers I wore most of the winter were about £13, rather than the Biemme's £39, but I can really understand where the extra money has gone. That said, they are rather more, erm, form-fitting...

T'was from a fine eBay emporium running by the moniker of, "High on Bikes". Pray follow this linky...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Biemme-Coronado-Padded-Winter-Cycling-BIB-Tights-XL_W0QQitemZ390167452285QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cycling_Clothing?hash=item5ad7cada7d#ht_2191wt_1002

Edit: One caveat, there isn't much longitudinal stretch in the material. I had to buy the XL due to my height (6'3"), so the top bit is slightly loose. The leg bits fit fantastically.

In black. I only went to the LBS for a poke around

My first pair of Assos - I almost hope they're not as good as people say, so I don't have to buy more.

I can't even wear them until I get a new saddle - I've noticed that my existing one has some stitching that has eaten through some dhb tights during the winter. LBS does a test program with Fizik and Prologo saddles - that looks like the next purchase lined up. Sigh.

Im afraid they probably will ;-)

Mine certainly do on my Airprotec tights and the Uno shorts. I'm sure I occasionally catch people glancing as I walk in the office :o

I don't worry too much, the levels of comfort the Assos gear offers is so good, it's well worth the mangina look in my opinion.

    symo Posts: 1,743
NO! Mangina is not worth any level of comfort.

    On to the purchases.

    From Rosebikes :
Chain cleaner machine thing + Spares for it

And a handle bar extension to mount on the Turbo bike so I add the Garmin Edge in a better position and also for the mobile phone.
