I've just treated my bum to a Selle Italia SLR Gel Flow saddle, my hands to some Ritchey Pro bar tape in white , my feet to some SIDI oversocks in blue (now that the weather is sorting its act out), and my head to a Campy cap in black :D

Now to go out and get those Ksyrium SLs..... :P

Get on the keyboard to them about the lock, 2 weeks is a wee-wee take for whatever reason. Two days and I'm panicking with Wiggle, w/ends in consideration.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Mapsource is more reliable if you want to make a .gpx. Google maps based apps normally make your .gpx screw up, because the maps are slightly different to the ones on the garmin.

Must try mapsource. Mind you I've used Bikeroutetoaster since I had the 305 and not had many issues with it - occassionally I'll find that a road that looked fine on the map is actually private gated off, but there's always a way round - I guess that's an issue with google maps. BRT can be a little slow at times, and is fairly basic, but it works well enough, and it's easy to save and link to routes.

Google maps based stuff is fine if you make .tcx files, it's just .gpx files that'll cause the garmin to have a fit.

I never know what files I'm creating - I just use the 'download to device' button on BRT which works a treat! Actually can someone explain the diff between .tcx .gpx please? I find it all a little confusing.

Just ordered my second set of 2008 888 WC's for a bargain £380 on eBay (New) turns out the seller is Windwave (official Marz importer) selling off old stock.

A lot easier on the pocket than the first set that cost me a grand!

I went to Swanage yesterday and bought a pink Dia-Compe brake from Charlie the bikemongers for my fixie to replace the piece of junk that was on there. Then went to have fish and chips on the sea front. Very nice.

Fitted it this morning using my new LifeLine bike stand. Looks nicer and brakes better.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a BikeBoxAlan. Question is do I go for a plain black version, or a blinged up version with Castelli & Pinarello decals??

Well I'd like the bling obvio - but is it worth indicating to people that the bike box may well contain a Pinarello or should I stick Argos/Halfords stuff on it...

Perhaps black is best, understated and all that...

Hmm. Get the black one and stick a little 'bling' on a corner somewhere, although I understand that won't have the same 'drool' factor.

As soon as potential thief picks it up he'll realise it isn't Argos - unless you bolt the box to the floor; that would be pretty convincing!

@Il Principe yeah, stealth mode. The uber-bling resides within.

@biondino I also like that jacket (dagnabbit). Sizing ok? Know you were worried about that.
