Don't think its illegal per se - as long as you have a red one as well. Must really get arse in gear and cut my reflective sheet up and stick on various bits!Le Cannon [98 Cannondale M400] [FCN: 8]

IIRC, this came up before and it's illegal for any vehicle other than emergency vehicles to display blue lights. E&OE0 -

A Fenix TK11 and an L2D as backup. After using a cateye purchased in an emergency after my Niterider Minewt died earlier this week, I'm looking forward to being brighter than the sun tonight If you notice a faint glow from the South London area it'll be me. On another note Cateye shouldn't be allowed to sell their front lights, the 800 candlepower job that my LBS at work sold me had all the illuminating power of an old sock. Even sat behind cars if traffic I couldn't see it reflecting on them. And in another rant, I'll never buy another Niterider light, that's three that have died on me in the last 15 months, and it's now out of warrantee, my LBS refuse to change it, and I'm £170 poorer for the experience.pain is temporary, the glory of beating your mates to the top of the hill lasts forever.....................

If it becomes a problem, I can always remove the light. But I've anecdotal evidence of police turning a blind eye to it. I suppose it depends how much one's local cops are sticklers for the rules (or how bored or anti-cyclist they are).0 -

I know, I saw!!
Been pricing up bikes possibly for our (mine and my gf's) 10th anniversary presents.
Well it makes sense to me
Would anyone go for the base £899 spec??
Looking at it, I specced a few bits upwards, ie crankset etc etc, and it came to a fair it more.
What would you upgrade from the base spec??

Dude do yourselves a favour and buy 2 x Ribble sportive carbon frames+forks c£450 each or go for the entry level full build and replace/upgrade the parts as you need ie when the weather gets better, you'll end up with carbon all season super bikes that turn into you summer bests as you wear.

very happy with the bike overall nice and light and fits like a glove. im gonna fit a lighter cassete and chainset with ceramic bb bearings to get it under 15lbs. could fit lighter forks but as im quite heavy i like the security of the ec70,s. the wheels are amazingly strong for their weight too. ive hit quite afew big potholes at speed and not even a hint of wobbleViner Salviati
