Am I the only bargain hunter here? a BNWT 3 pocket cycling jersey in black from a local charity shop - £2.99 :!: Also, anyone tried a "Rido" saddle; I saw one the other day for a fiver and wondered if they were any good. The reviews made them seem a bit like Marmite - they reckon you either love it or hate it, but I'd be interested to hear any opinions. Mind you, for a fiver I suppose you can't go far wrong...

I hope those are grippier in the wet than the standard rubinos. The crank brothers speed lever is brilliant, shame I lost mine out of my pocket.

They are also to power me home, this is how I justify them as bike related purchases anyway.

Cool. Perhaps they were misplaced R&D prototypes. The golf ball dimples are old hat, it'll be aero choc chips for next year's models :)

I never had a problem with my Rubino's in the wet. Mind you I have been on the fixie and watching my cornering speed. Here's hoping they'll be fine. Looking forward to the Crank Bro's lever when the fairy visits on cold mornings, no more fumbling with numb fingers

I have a rido R2 on my ribble. Stopped my numb nuts problems. It's heavy and ugly though. I'd recommend it if your junk goes numb. I'd say stay away from it if you don't have that problem.
