    ok ok so it's not got anything to do with bikes but I just snapped up a rather lovely Calligaris dining table for my new pad - reduced from £1418 to £395. Dead chuffed with that. :D

    That won't happen, already had cadence computers. The 705 does have ANT+ so I might become anal about Power when I can afford a Power Tap.

    Yay my wheels have arrived, all redy to go for the morning. Thr rigida rims have a really nice flat profile they look smart and shouldn't catch the wind as much as my old ritcheys.

    new 705 from garmin direct to replace the one that got run over last weekend.

    On tuesday i shall be picking up new mounts so it doesnt happen again. In the meantime shall be using cable ties to keep it on the old mount.

    ( Now need new stem, as bar is 25.4, stem 31.8, unless you know of adapter maker?
