Hi I'm Mickey its been 2 years since my last drink... Oh wrong forum
I am from Ireland living in Belfast. I am an All Mountain type of rider. Will try anything even done a bit of single speed in the Catalan Pyrenees this summer on a Niner SIR 9 Rigid. 75km on a single speed in proper mountains was a good work out. I try to ride Scotland trail centres as much as I can with normally a week long trip in the summer. We can do a day trip by boat for £80 for a car and 4 so Kirroughtree and AE are our day trip spots. Local we have no real sanctioned trails but have loads of natural or rider built stuff. Things are starting to change though and trail developments are starting to pop up thanks to the guys at http://www.trailbadger.com
Photo below is me at the top of the Fortwilliam DH course. Loved that on a 150mm travel bike.
I ride a Trek Remedy 8 (2010)

I'm from Manchester, but this is my 2009 Trek 4500 at the top of the South Loop at Whinlatter. Fairly standard but I've put Avid Juicy 3s on (the front one constantly needs the pistons pushing back in, annoyingly), some bar-ends and some Ritchey Z-Max Classics. I can't find a reason to upgrade at the moment.
I've got a 1991 Orange Clockwork too, hopefully, as I let my mate borrow it and he says it is in his loft. I had a big hiatus from MTBs whilst I discovered booze, clubs, women and eating. I hit 24 stone so got back into bikes as trying to run was battering my knees. 18.5 stone now and still getting smaller and fitter.0 -
