Hi, I'm Rob from Leicester.
Bought a Carrera Fury last year when I sold my other toy and promptly didn't use it for nearly 9 months cause I had to put it into storage due to selling our house.
Started to use it in October mainly for road and local skyrides, have been to Sherwood a couple of times and gonna give cannock a go in the new year.
Haven't had a bike since I passed my driving test (21 yrs ago) but I haven't forgot how to ride, I've just got a lot less brave!!!
Just bought a Raleigh Grifter to renovate for some reason, had a nostalgia moment the other day, put a bid in and won it tonight! Mrs will kill me when she sees it.

I'm Simon, originally from Burnley but now living in Manchester. I'm not new to the forum but I've been inactive for some time now. I had lost the bug after moving to Blackburn for a few years due to the lack of trails, but, after having my bike stolen shortly after moving to Manchester and getting a shiny new one I've been bitten again.
My new bike is a Specialized Camber Expert 2011.
And on its maiden voyage in Marple today. It was bloody freezing! I was wheel-spinning on the roads because of the frost.
And here is me on my old bike from a couple of years ago taking part in the Hit the North event.
Looking forward to getting back into it properly and exploring more of what the surrounding areas of Manchester have to offer. Seems promising so far!0 -

That was the first time I have been around that area but it does look like there's a lot more to be found!0 -
I'm Ian, I'm 21, living around the Cambridge area, been riding for about 6 months now. My best mate gave me a very old heavy Giant Boulder which was falling apart but it got me pretty much hooked, and last month I snapped up this 2010 Anthem X3. Love it to bits, fast bike, just I wish there were a few more hills in this area!
Pic of me freezing my tits off in -8 weather making sure the bike is clean, am I mad?

Hi I'm Simon,
Originally from Wrexham but now living in the Sierra of Madrid. I`m not new to the forum I used to post under a different name but decided that a change of ID was called for.
I ride bikes, I love bikes in all forms, I don't distinguish between styles- we all ride bikes.
I've been riding more or less my whole life with a short gap while I was discovering cars, girls and beer,,,
I've got one of these.

Hi, i’m Mark, 32, a recently reformed mtb biker from Berkshire.
I used to live and breathe biking through my teens and early twenties in the 90s when brake discs were pipe dreams and suspension was bank busting.
I moved from Bracknell were i used to play in Swinley Forest, to Reading and now after a 10 year abscence have fallen back into biking and now play go and play in the Chilterns whenever possible.
I always used to ride Kona so found a new 09 Caldera on Pauls Cycles to replace my trusty 95 Cinder Cone and unfortunately my upgrade-itis fever has already biten and i have a long shopping list.
I look forward to wracking your brains on the forums and if anyone has any good technical riding routes in and around Reading i’d love to hear them.

I probably posted in here already, but i'm bored so here goes.
Sean, originally from America, spent a few years in Cambridge, and been living with my Wife in Austria for the last year and a half or so!
I like to ride bikes, motorbikes and have a bit of fun in cars as well. I'm actually quite lame if you ask me.

And my bike can be seen in my signature. I really need to update the picture to something decently nice, but gotta wait till the weekend. Somehow managed to miss out on pictures yesterday while riding!0 -

Hello all, this is my first post on this forum I think.
I'm Karen from Bristol and I ride a Marin Wolf Ridge 6.9 which is setup as a downhill rig, and a Whyte 805 which does all my cross country duties.
This is me:
and both my bikes:
Both bikes have changed a bit since the pictures have been taken, mostly the Marin though. As you can see the Whyte is on a chairlift in the Alps, an amazing holiday and I have already booked next years trip. I tend to ride the Marin a bit more than the Whyte at the moment, usually in the Forest of Dean or Aston Hill. I have been riding XC for years, but only recently started DH, so my confidence is still growing. I have booked on to a skills course in Decemeber with Jedi, I can't wait!Giant Trance and Specialized Allez0 -
