    Hi
Is anyone going over thorndon / Warley over weekend and wouldn't mind a tag along?
Been going over there now and again and found some good riding but wouldn't mind riding with others to see what else it has to offer

I'll be riding Thorndon on Saturday morning, we meet at the ski slope/kart track car park.

    Time is open for discussion.

Sorry, can't get to Brentwood this weekend. No way of getting there...
Anyone riding down Langdon Hills way?

It was very wet at Thorndon today, some of the trails had water running down them.

But I had a very good ride of 3 1/2 hours, cleared some trails of logs, that had as usual been deliberately placed.

Saw a big yellow thing in the sky at one point, still trying to figure out what it was.

I'd be happy to show you a few places around Langdon Hills. PM me with a date you can ride, and we'll figure out somewhere to meet.

Oh, sorry to hear that. Biking related?

I wish! I was trying to impress my new girlfriend with my cooking skills, turns out 4 hours in A&E doesn't impress women

I was cutting an avacado in half, and the knife (biggest one I could find because i'm a bloke!) slipped and sliced the palm of my hand.

Did make me laugh though because when I was sat waiting to be seen by the doctor my biggest concern was my work as I'm self employed, but a very close second was riding, I had just fitted my new Charge Spoon saddle to my bike and i'm dying to try it out!!

Did the girlfriend stick around after the event?

Yeah luckily enough it didn't scare her off! She even had sympathy for the fact that I couldn't go out biking!

She sounds like a keeper to me. Not many girlfriends or wives would have sympathy because you can not ride.
  • She is keeper for sure, she didn't even mind the a couple of weeks back on a Sunday, which we normally spend together, that I was off biking for a couple of hours. I'm just waiting for that to come in an arguement one day!

As long as you don't neglect one and only ride the other, then that's all that matters
