is anyone going out sunday for a ride  thats if the snow isnt up to my window by then .. just keeping my options open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
-
There a lot of trails over at Thorndon they ride regulaly from there at weekends.
We might go out again this week if the snow stays0 -
Thorndon was more fun than usual due to the snow and icy ruts
I spent 3hrs riding there, it's much bigger than I thought. Unfortunately the best trails are marked as walkers only.
Who does regular rides there?0 -
Well that would be me, I ride there about 3 times per week.
Just come back from a 5 hour walk over there, it was pretty busy.
During the week at the moment my rides are a bit ad hoc but I can normally be pinned down to a Saturday morning ride, Sundays there is a lot more traffic over there. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0 -
i was over there today, pretty good ride, quite fast rolling too which surprised me.
give me a shout if your stuck for a rididng buddy during the week, weekends we usually go further afeild.
was going to take the finished hardtail project overt there but the seatpost is stuck it there and its sitting about 6" too high grr!
Just to prove i was there, i'm a the back, my brother is in forground.0 -
Who's up for a ride on Saturday at Thorndon/Warley meeting at 9am in the ski slope/kart track car park.
Weather is forecast to be a knotted handkerchief, string vest and shorts 4 C.
Everyone is welcome we won't leave you lost, miles from home in the woods. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0 -

-
Blimey pink toothbrush! LOL good luck.
I cant make saturdays, i'll be there sunday about 10:30-11ish?0 -
Saturday morning is good for me
Will probably be up for a Sunday ride too if the roads haven't thawed out properly.0 -
As it is snowing who would like to join me on a ride this evening, leaving at 7.00?0
-
I might be if my light is up to night riding (Hope Vision 1)... where you starting from?0
-
Car Park on Lower Dunton Road0
-
Rode last night, went out to tackle all the long hauls and steep slopes in the snow, just to see what was ridable.
Made it to the top of all of them, but the old pins won't take a second night of abuse.
Spent 2 1/2 hours riding and could have stayed out longer, but my dinner by 8:30 was calling me home. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0 -
Come with us, we are having a lesuirely ride tonight0
-

Sorry to hear that. Did that bit of snow have some dog shit wrapped round it, hence the infection?0 -

definately worth a go down there, been there a few times, to make a loop of it though, you would have to do a bit of road work.
