We as usual had a good ride today at Thorndon, found a lot of quite dry trails but they could only be joined up by riding the sludge.

Quite a few places the ground was frozen so that helped, plus not many people about.

Nearly gained a dog as one took a liking to Rich, perhaps he found us more fun on our bikes.

Thanks for the company Rich and Tim. 8)

The ghost of Capability Brown was out building a few more lakes today at Thorndon.

Even the wall of death is half filled with water says the optimist in me. :)

It's now officially the wettest I have ever seen Thorndon in all the years I have ridden there, but there are still quite a few dry trails.

Robert those dry trails you talk of are called roads.

    Thorndon proper muddy yesteday.
Started off from ski/kart track straight down towards the usual downhill singletrack only to go straight into the newly formed lake .Thought that won't be that deep  wheels stopped half way through, managed to jump out with just wet feet . Joe learned from my mistake and jumped across
