will get the other down in the lower wood and the Upper woods bit back next time as accidentally left the cam runing and it created a 1.024.000kb file size and corrupt itself! ooooops! but for a fiver from china, some electrical tabe and old innertube cut up for wedges Cant go wrong!!!

  • Hi Guys

I am a newby based in Falmouth, are there anyone going for a ride this weekend? If so would you mind if i came along? Just looking to get bike fit and develop some more knollege.

    Thanks

  • Hi Steve,
if you follow the link in my sig to Cornwall mtb site the club's riding from Trispen on Suinday morning, good fun bunch aiming for more a good ride with your mates than out and out milage, meet sheet is pretty full at the mo with a Wide range of rides around the county, and normally some pretty good directions on how to get to them too!
if you want a Faster paced longer mile ride ~ typically 25-30 miles then check out Cornwall Trailriders on Facebook, they meet in Redruth at half 8 on sunday mornings and through out the week in the evenings,
or there is the One and All club meeting at the Bissoe Cafe, mainly road orientated with a Very small mtb side, not sure on start time, but if you chosse to go there, you'll prolly have to pay parking of £3 too!
there are a few of us formt he cornwall club that are free some days through the week to show you some local ish trails, (redruth/truro/helston area mainly)

    hope that helps fella!

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Hah well scooby is off the road, needs all the sus doing which is a 2k job, so i have a 95 1.4 diesel metro for now, paid a grand for it with 17k on the clock

Bike is still the same, been paying things off sorting a few bits out, i just need a rear mech to finish it off, that and a decent set of wheels.

Not to mention this telly is slowly on the way out, so that is first on the list anyway, got to prioritize ;)

Oh im big again, but the right kind im just shy of 16st but i've been hitting the gym every other day, i can currently incline leg press 350kgs i kid you not, bugger on the knees mind so i rarely crack 200 tbh, getting older afterall

Gym is morgans in chacewater and it's gorgeous top of the range everything and all brand spanking new ah here it is

I couldn't make any of the meetings due to work, but I emailed Jim Pascoe who told me they are confident that the project will go ahead and will be complete by Oct 2013.
We should start to see some construction activity in Cardinham next year.

I have a couple of plans of the new routes (both for Lanhydrock and Cardinham woods in PDF file that he sent to me, if any one wants a shifty, pm me their email address and I'll gladly forward them on.

Yeah i know where to get a telly, keep looking enough times.

The teins well one of the rears is rotted through, the wheel moves it's worn that much. As for the fronts one of the pillowball mounts has corroded and snapped in half despite being alloy

Plus i have to replace them all as a set, because tein no longer make them anyway ah well.

As for the metro she's a beast

True but im not too gutted, they did ride rather harsh as they were gt spec so meant for the track really.

Oh btw tim have a nose here, i have some of their tops and they are so comfy. Rumored to be made under the same roof as under armour gear.

  • hi john, sorry for the delay in replying to you fella,
mulion way, not a lot i know of but am certain there are a few routes down that way, had i remembered to check before the weekend then you could have come along today for the bissoe sesh, all manor of good riding int he valley, a lot of guys spent a lot of time making some cracking routes through there!!
there are no trail centres as such down here, but most woods have a few routes cut through them by the locals,

now, i think, your allowed on some of the parts of the coast path down that way too, as they are rights of way rather than designated foot paths, generally though as long as your polite and courtious to walkers you'l be fine!!
