There's only one way to avoid helmet hair and I'm not ready to shave it all off just yet... I'll go for a perm and blue rinse and will do my best to keep it nice for the photos ;)

Nick- I'll be at your place for about 2:15 then, should give us plenty of time to take the bike to pieces and shoehorn it in the boot :) Still can't beleave how small the boot is for such a big car! Do you know the way? If not do you have a decent map? Ours is about 40 years old i think so not much use  I would print of a route from Google maps but my printer is broken.

    Andy.

    Andy,

    M2 till Junction 5 (a249)

Jion A249 heading towards Maidstone (first exit at roundabout)

at next big roundabout take M20 towards London (think its 3rd exit)

take M26 towards (M25 south) gatwick (think its junction 3 on M20)

Jion M25 at end of M26

Clackets is between Junction 5 and 6 of the M25, coming of the M26 you will jion the M25 at Junction 5 so watch out for it after about 5mins on the M25.

So is anyone gonna answer my question??? lol

    Your riding this Saturday yes?

If I get on the train towards London Victoria do I have to change trains at some point?? Might have to look into that more before I'd attempt it.
    Anyone else going by train?

Russ - where's the start point tomorrow? Will Papa Smurf be able to ride there?

Papa Smurf, i think you want to get to Dorking station, which will mean changing at Victoria. Check out www.nationalrail.co.uk for times. It'll take a couple of hours from Maidstone. We're aiming to start the ride at about 4. Hope you can make it!

This is where we will be parking unless its really busy we will have to go elsewhere. Its pretty difficult to find just ask mark! Its at the end of Radnor Lane. Riding is possible but your need a map to follow, take around 45mins i would guess.

Trains go to dorking from victoria.

Work is dead tonight, ive been playing with my bike all week. Got a new front tyre atlast to relpace the ripped xc pro. Swapped my old front tyre onto the rear and bought a panaracer rampage for the front for a bit more grip.

I went the other way and had a Racing Ralph / Jones XR combo for the midweek ride. Bad move with all the mud as i was sliding everywhere. I blame them for at least 2 of my falls ;)

I've got 2 lights, so if it does get too dark you can use 1 of mine.

Forgot to say thanks for the offer of the lights Ade/Andy. I will take you up on that if it comes to it.

Awesome ride guys, really enjoyed that (except for 8 or 10 minor discrepancies)! I've just spent 10 minutes trying to scrub off bruises in the shower... Thanks for planning the route Russ and thanks for the lift Andy :) Definitely have to do it again sometime soon.

That was a fantastic ride, i realy enjoyed that and i didn't want it to end. I could ride telegraph all day long! Whatever route we do in the future i definately want to do that one again. I loved all the jumps and drop off's, that trail has really helped my riding i think as i now know i am not going to face plant every time i get some air! Definately going to session the Hern jumps soon once i get some Knee pads.
Looking forward to the pics and video's :)

Glad you guys enjoyed the ride, it was a good laugh yesterday, nick providing most of the entertainment!! sorry nick.

Like the vids Mark, they came out well. Maybe it was getting a touch dark on the Telegraph trail we will film it again next time in the light and with more energy. We should film the "sketchy" section that everyone loved to.

850meters of climbing in only 19miles, Good going everyone, sorry for putting you all through it
