But propose going slightly further, 50 miles to Abbess Rodding. Coming back via Morteon, Toot Hill, Epping High St and High Beech etc.

I think I saw two of you out today on a Ridley and Omega coming down Broadmead Road at about 9.30 this morning...I hope that you found it easier than I did on Saturday. My first long ride since Feb 8th. got 100K in but it hurt.

Yes, that was me and Jonathan. I struggled with that headwind on the way out, we managed just over 100 km though, didn't feel too bad when I got home, ready for a good sleep tonight though.

Randomly bumped into Jonathan r whilst out for my first ride in months on Saturday. Good to have a quick chat with another forummer and do a little bit of two's up. Defninately up for tagging along with you guys in the coming weeks. It's my father's 70th this weekend so I'm tied up then but would like to get back into regular weekend rides.

Well I've got all the parts bar the saddle. Last Saturday, I went to my not so local bike shop in Hainault, Ciclos Uno, who are going to build my bike. The new Campag record group set had just arrived, looks geat. Also I wanted to get the setup on my old bike checked by the experts, and if ok used for the new.

Was glad to get an experts opinion.

No I haven't got it yet, looks like it might be a couple of weeks yet.
Oh and I need to sort out insurance.
