Legs weren't too bad. I'm into the habit of stretching after exercise... however, after stretching I lay on the couch and just couldn't keep my eyes open. Absolutely knackered!

I had work to do too. Did none of it. So ended up getting up at six on Monday to do what I planned for sunday afternoon before going to work

Nevertheless eager to get out again

I don't live too far from Leyton to be interested in joining you lot one day, but I think not this Sunday. Although I'm not involved this time at least, I feel I should point out that as the clocks are going forwards this weekend, a 9.30 start is going to feel like 8.30am. Personally I don't do 8.30 on Sunday mornings [|)]

Ill see you there tomorrow, although I don't think the weather going to be that great,might have to cut it short.

Westerly wind 15mph, overcast with some possible showers, 8 C.

If it's as you describe, can you pick us a 25 mile route at the most... that loss of hour and 15 mph winds could be enough to crack me.

Am I right with the Woodford roudabout at the end of Lea Bridge road as the meeting place?

anyone ever up for earlier starts on a saturday?

Last ride out, we did about 28 miles in about 2 hours (see Jonathan's post with the route above). I'm the slow one of the three of us and Simon and Jonathan do hang on for me at points on the ride. I really lack any base fitnes, power in my legs when we go up hill and I'm carrying too many pies.

9 - 9.30 is as early as I'd like to go for a ride I'm afraid. Not sure about the others. No preference for Saturday or Sunday though. Although the next ride out is arranged for Sunday so far.
