It was something quite innocuous in the US Politics/Biden thread about pollsters and the election. Seems like he had other things on his plate judging by the way he acted.

Yeah, I think I might have questioned his unquestioning faith in Nate Silver despite his company being owned by Peter Thiel (ironic that his forecast was OK in the end), and RC insisting that something that had changed hadn't changed at all. Like you say, I think there was other stuff going on, given that RC normally relished a robust debate.
I wonder if he's moved to London yet🤔😜

Sad though I was to see RC flouncer, I am still amused and bemused in equal measure at the actual subject for the departure, given it wasn't personal - the frequent lively discussions talking about his personal circumstances and grievances seemed much more likely to provoke a flounce.

Not to labour a point, but he didn't seem to have a healthy relationship with his social media. So it's our loss from an entertainment perspective, but probably not a bad thing overall.

To be fair, although he usually gave as good as he got, the flounce episode was well out of character in its directness from him, so I think it was good advice. The only worry is now, as he was the CS lightning conductor for bad luck, will one of the remaining posters become Mr Unlucky?
