Obviously he was the leader of the union, but he didn't have sole control.
Just think it's funny how much he is built up into a big scarey bogeyman. He was just good at his job even if that caused some annoyance (no more than the endless cancellations for reasons).

Pretty accurate I'd say.
Just trying to make things work a bit better won't cut the mustard. It will get them turfed out for someone who will break everything. Who also won't have a plan for what to do then.
