Egads! That's the first I've seen the front.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this beholder is 🤮🤮🤮
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.1 -
Yep, that front is hideous!

It looks like the photo has been taken with a fish eye lens

It's a penis on wheels.

Sounds like the battle we had on my son's A3 diesel. There's just not enough room behind the light fitting to get a normal sized hand in there. Did it in the end going in via the wheel arch liner. Next time he lost a headlight bulb he just went to Halfords and the bloke fitted it for a tenner. He's either done hundreds of them or he's a safecracker or possibly gynaecologist in his spare time. £10 well spent I thought.

Posted this before but on this topic, a Subaru Legacy (and apparently other makes) require the bumpers to be removed so the light unit can be withdrawn. There is no space in the engine bay*. This is either poor design, or by design.
*I could access one side but not the other.

I posted a pic of the front upthread when I first mentioned it...although you don't look at the mantlepiece when you're poking the fore and all that 😊

Call it selective eyesight.
Forgotten about again.

At least it's a decent size 😉

Original ford KA recomends battery removal on one side and for you to take the front wheels off!
Or have tiny tiny hands.

So an automotive BOBFOC then for you then 😊
I quite like the front as it has a certain 'get outta my ****ing way' when seen in a rear view mirror. Or a bit of a 'Hannibal Lecter' vibe, depending on how the mood takes you.

It is Pride Month so why is it not rainbow coloured?

Whatever floats your boat, Loon.

Interesting... 20mph in Wales leads to reduction in accident claims. Who would have thunk it?
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

War on motor insurance.

Why stop there? Why not cut the limit to 5mph and will be fine, surely?
Anyway, this is the interesting car thread. This belongs in the 'let's all take busiss and ebikes thread'.

How many people should you be able to injure in the name of driving a bit faster through residential areas?
I don't think it was buses an e-bikes making all the insurance claims before

So why not cut the limit to 5mph if that is the only relevant factor?

As I've said many times before, 20mph is the point at which the graph starts to rise on fatalities. It actually has some kind of thinking behind it which the 30mph limit never did.

Honestly, if you have to drive at 20mph to be safe in most situations, the bus is probably the best option for you.
I've invested in the latest safety technology which has kept me accident free and my license clean

Yes, we are all claiming that is the only relevant factor. Well done for spotting our error

In more interesting news, the new Aston Vantage is getting great reviews.

The thing is, as a driver you are also responsible for the safety of those around you. When that kid runs out between cars right in front of you it isn't your safety you are looking out for is it? Some of us think beyond what is best for society, not what is best for only ourselves.

Whereas, on some streets reduced to effectively single track lanes by parked traffic, 20 mph is pushing it.
So, if you are against blanket 20 mph limits, what about appropriately selected ones? (In principle)
Another reason they are a good idea is noise, incidentally. Makes a big difference in some rural villages with busy through roads. Also makes them less chopped in two. Will also make residential streets quieter and nicer places to live.
It isn't like you are hooning around in those places anyway.

The boring stuff about speed limits belongs here folks:

Scratch free now?
PS is that a Man City top you're wearing? 🙂

Certainly not...
And yes, that's the post-fix side. They did a good job.
I have to say I'm a big fan of the car, and I love the look of the 18inch rims. Does set it a little apart from other mrk 7 golfs.

Those rims won't stay nice for long if you have to pavement-park all the time.
