The last 3rd was pretty rideable.
Just the middle third that was impossible.

That's the problem with Cwm Carn - although the climbs aren't that steep, they are very, very technical, you really have to pick your line all the way up. Some sections are unridable in the wet. Spinning 22/34 helps, but even I struggled on a couple of places! [:D]

Im very close to having to give up being captain of a tema due to lack of time to do anything. Struggling to ifnd time to even ride at all at the mo.
I did have a team sorted but as usual they disappear when money is mentioned so... If there isnt another team byt the time ig et myself sorted then I'll jsut have to get one going again then.

No training this week, CRC haven't delivered my new drivetrain and its been busy at work so I've needed the car.
Hopefully next week will see a few miles put down.

Ouch indeed, has that ended any thoughts about the "Big Hairy Arsed Northern Bike RideT"
Teh bathroom is almost complete, just one coat of gloss on the door and grout the floor and I'm done.
Then I've told her ladyship that I'm going to start putting some miles in.

On a procurement note, one of my neighbours is in the police and I've asked if he can get hold of some "police line - do not cross" tape to cordon off our area.

TBH, until I'm back riding and training I don't want to commit to anything. That said, I can bend my finger now. I've removed the strapping and will re-apply it overnight. I should be able to brake and shift by the weekend.

Track chain - they just don't snap. Evidence: I destroyed a chainring and snapped 2 chainring bolts a few weeks ago by pedalling too hard, but the chain was fine.0

Update:
I can now move my finger freely, although there isn't much power in my grip yet. Ribs still a tad sore, but I can breath easily now and have virtually full movement of my shoulder/arm.
I've also got quite a bit of bruising come up on my knees and right thigh, but that isn't painful.
I shall give the commuter bike a bit of a ride on Friday (I've got the day off work) to see how everything feels.
